Good for you! I wish you nothing but the best. You know, myLot is a great place to practice your typing! Here, you will not be put down if you do not type correctly. We encourage everyone who is not used to typing in English to use myLot as practice, and a place to learn! I am so glad your are putting forth so much effort to learn and type English. You seem to be doing pretty well!

You are on the right track Zelmarq! Improving your keyboarding skills is a lot of fun and very important too. I just learned to type properly when I took up a 6-month course in Medical Transcription. A friend shared with me his software Typer Shark and I practice every day. I was slow at first and I don't even play the games because I was afraid I'd be eaten by the sharks because I cannot type that fast. But after a few weeks my friend noticed that I am already typing without looking at the keyboards and my typing speed improved too. I am very happy that although I am in my late 30s I was still able to improve my typing skills. So good luck and enjoy your typing lessons!

I had a typing tutorial when i was in college and at first it was very difficult but enjoyable. There are a lot of tutorial typing games online that i really enjoy playing and at the same time learning how to type the proper way. In no time you will be able to type even when your eyes close. :) Have fun!

when i was studying in the college i used typing tutorial just for fun and playing games. but nowadays it is more helpful to me. since my profession is fully based on the type, the fast typing is essential for me. i learned legal typing from tutorial itself, i am not going to any training classes for that.

Good for you. I had typing classes in the early 1990s in grade school, long before the internet became popular. I was typing about 120 wpm when I started out on line, and don't remember the last time I typed with one finger. I am glad they are offering typing courses on line now. That's a wonderful way for people to learn, since they are on line anyway, and the keyboard is right there. Great idea!

I also tried to teach myself touch typing online. I found quite a good course, and practised it nearly every day. I completed all the lessons, about 20 of them I think. It certainly improved my touch typing. But I am still slow with my speed.
