Yes, like you sometimes my mood is affected by the weather. When it is cloudy and raining I don't feel very vibrant and happy but when the day is sunny and bright I am cheerful and my mood is better.
I don't experience this often compared when I was a teenager. Now that I am a mother of two, I often tell my daughters that rain is good because it helps clear the dust and the farmers really need this for their crops to grow. My youngest daughter often cries when it is raining especially if it is raining hard. I think she was 3 at that time and she is afraid of the lightning and thunder that comes with it.
I have read online that there is a disorder called SAD acronym for Seasonal Affective Disorder. I was surprised because I realized that maybe I have this disorder when I was still a teenager when I feel down and depressed during gloomy weather. Now, I know much better that there really such a thing and I am not confused anymore why sometimes my mood is affected by the weather.

Weather has affected my mood so many times.Different types of rain affect differently to my mood. Rain with sunshine sky make me more pleasant. When sky is filled fully with dark clouds gloomy mood fills my mind.At the same time I believe that one's actual mood of mind is the main factor and weather can affect it like catalysts action in chemistry, giving more intensity or alleviation.

Hi sanjana,
I had similar thoughts last week. I was so lethargic and irritating and didn’t felt to do anything. I knew it is just because of the weather. The weather is changing often and I felt difficult to analyze, is it rainy, autumn or winter… yeah I know the winter is on its way. The weather change affects badly sometimes on our mood…

Yes, my mood will be affected by the weather. That's why I like autumn best. The high sky is always clear and blue, with soft and white clouds. So is my mood. But in summer, most of the time is sweltering, I couldn't control my mood easily.

Well it actually does when I think about it now. When it's hot, I get angry for no good reason at all and it's the same when it's extremely cold too. But gloomy weather and rainy weather kinda gets me relaxed.

hi sanjana_aslam,
Well, although hard rains can paralyze people, I still become thankful of it. Why? Because my body needs some time out in teaching students today. I have a lot of paper work to do and when I was out a while ago, I really hoped that classes would be suspended. When I got home, I was reluctant to wear my Monday uniform. It was because of the rain. Then when I opened the television, I read from there that classes from pre-school to high school in our area are suspended. I would like to lie down and have some form of relaxation but I just chose to go online and do some of my paper work.

Yes it does for me! When it's bright and sunny, I feel really elated and happy, ready to and eager to start my day. When's it's cold and raining, I get really annoyed and pissed because when I go out, I'm always getting wet and I have to bring an umbrella and it really irritates me. But if I'm inside sleeping, I would love to sleep in when it's raining! The darkness also helps too, just not wen I have to go out for school or to the shops, the rain and thunder just annoys me heaps. I like warm sunny days, really hot days make me feel really lazy so a spring days is the best day for me!
