two goals from him in the match between Bolton, make his goals become 100 goals..
it`s record i think..
you can see from the official website of arsenal...
Van persie become arsenal player since 2004...
He is become the seventeenth player who success score minimum 100 goals for Arsenal..His record is same like Joe Baker record(who play for Arsenal since 1962-1966)

I think Van Persie is a great player. He could reach this record faster if he didn't have so much problems with injuries. Arsenal felt so much his problems, because he could help the team goes much better at champions and premier league in recent years.
I hope he don't leave Arsenal, because the team is too young and, for sure, it will fell a lot his fault. Happy mylotting.

Van Persie can be a legend for Arsenal. I don't know if he will get the same status as Bergkamp, because Bergkamp's Arsenal was stronger than Van Persie's Arsenal.
Nowadays RVP has to play much more, because the team needs a lot of preparation to reach at the same level from other time.
But for sure his great skills are too important to Arsenal and RVP can be remember for a long time by Arsenal fans. The only problem is the lack of titles, because after 30, 40 years, the people will say: RVP was a great player, but didn't win. Happy mylotting.

adhyz82,
Just another candidate on the transfer list.
He is no doubt the best player for Arsenal at this time. However, I am sorry if I sound condescending because I could not help recalling coach Wenger's last press interview where he mentioned that there will be more players leaving Arsenal (at least 5 more). So, I would not be surprise if he eventually leaves for another club.
Last I heard, Manchester City is trying to buy him for £30 million and Arsenal is scrambling to keep their prolific player and captain at bay.

I remember seeing Robin van Persie for the first time in 2002 at the UEFA Cup Final, when Feyenoord has beaten Dortmund with 3-2. I don't remember if he scored a goal then, but I remember the commentator saying that he will be a great player. Now, after 9 years, we can state that the commentator was right, Robin van Persie has become a world star, a player who is recognized everywhere on the planet. I think it is fantastic to reach such a record and I think he will add a few more.
Congratulations to him!

Van Persie is already a legend at Arsenal, being the last of the invincibles team to still be there. Having said that his record of 100 goals is brilliant, but he has some way to go to beat Henry's record as the highest goal scorer for Arsenal. But he has age on his side and can can score quite a lot more goals if he stays injury free.
Cheers!

Van persie is a proven striker and scorer. However, he's too injury prone, if not he will be able to reach his century of goals much earlier than the 7 years he took. IF he's fit to play a full season or even 3/4s of a season, he should have scored at least 150 goals now. Just look at lionel messi, he's a perfect example, and i don't think van persie is not as good as him.
