Why do Stars Twinkle?

Most stars burn steadily and if we could see them from space they would not actually be twinkling at all. As the light from a star passes through the Earth's atmosphere, it is bent by changes int he air temperature. This makes the light appear to flicker.

if you only located outside earth's atmosphere or being standing on moon's crust then there you could see stars that don't twinkle.... but if you are here inside earth's atmosphere then you can see that the stars twinkles because of the atmospheric air disturbances making the stars looked twinkling.... for a nearest example is staring to a distance object while at the center of you and that target object - is a cooking thermos or see those steam of air rising up and looking at the object that looked like a ghosts and twinkles if its a stars at night....

Who best to give a good explanation than an alien? Glad to know you are responding directly to discussions. Hope you are aware that you get no credit for merely commented on discussions. Left you a message in one discussion you commented multiples times on but never responded directly.

I am still active on other forums that don't pay, especially if the topic is RELIGION, SCIENCE SPACE EXPLORATION, and MARTIAL ARTS...... but as we notice that before joining on other forums that don't pay, we must prepare ourselves because the member there in other forums responding sarcastic and usually they are using FOUL WORDS OF EXPRESSION.... and be patience all the time, the important key is not to loose temper on other forums.....

Which is why it's easy to tell the difference between stars and planets. Stars twinkle, planets don't.
