Just a thought, do people who could predict the future exist?
If i could tell your future, would you want to know?
More importantly though, why would you want to or not want to know?
If you could predict my future, id choose not to know, because if you tell me my future I have no choice and can't change anything in my life. I want to be able to make my own choice. Also i don't want to live knowing the future already, my life wont be interesting anymore.

It would be a nice skill to predict the future, But I doubt many people would do it. I think only people that don`t know what to do with their own life would like to know that. What about me? Definately not! That`s what we live for, to see what`s going to happen tomorrow, life is going on day by day, we forge our luck, our destiny, and our future. I think future is how we want it to be :)

I don't think I would want to know the future. While there might be some advantages to knowing, there would also be disadvantages. For instance, if you were told that you would die at 2pm tomorrow there could be a problem. If you knew such a thing, you might try to do something different, but you might just give up before that time. Thanks for bringing this up!

We christians are warned not to have anything to do with anything connected to the occult. If this were not so, I still would not want to know what earthly fate awaits me. That would be depressing.

I think I am with you on this one, I don't think I would want to know what is going to happen in the future. Personally I prefer to live one day at a time and enjoy every minute of it instead of worrying whats going to be of me in future.
However sometimes there have been a few occassions in which I have been anxious to know what the outcome will be like and I am sure alot of us experience that anxiety once in a while as well.
But if I had the option I would rather let everything run its course as normal and let things come as surprises how life it is intended to be.

I would not even seek this foreteller. I believe the scriptures and in Jahovah. Jahovah makes it very clear he doesnt want people doing that.
"Do notturn yourselves to the spirit mediums, and do not consult professional foreteller of events, so as to become unclean by them. Iam Jahovah your God." Lev.19:31.
"And he made his own sonpass through the fire, and hepracticed magic and looked for omens and made spirit mediums and professional foretellers of events. He did on a large scale what was bad in Jahovah's eyes, to offend him."2Ki.21:6.
"And also the spirit mediumsand the foretellers of events and teh teraphim and the dungy idols and all the disgusting things that had appeared in the land of Judah and in Jersalem Josiah cleared them out, in order that he might carry out the law that were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had found at the house of Jahovah." 2ki.23:24.
"And the spirit of Egypt must become bewildered in the midst of it, and I shall confuse its own counsel. And they will be certain to resort to the valueless gods and to the charmers and to the spirit mediums and to the professional foretellers of events." Isa.19:3

This is a very good question. Sometimes I think I do want to know my future, most of the time I don't. I'd be too afraid to know especially now that I have a family, I wouldn't want to know if you foresee something bad that's going to happen to any members of my family. I would just let things be and let fate take its course. I believe in a God and I know that everything happens for a reason. So, whatever it is that the future holds, I'm ready to face it head on. So knowing the future is not really important to me.

i don't want to know simply because the excitement and thrill of living will be lost. i don't go for fortune tellers anymore. before when i was a kid, i was really interested with what they have to say.
love life, career, family, studies and they will tell you so much. unfortunately i never encountered a real fortune teller so i gave up. plus the fact that it makes no-sense at all knowing what lies ahead.
i'd rather do things my way not because someone told me that this will happen.

For me it is like knowing when you are going to die. And I do not want to know and even tell somebody that he or she is going to die from the doctor's finding. And so knowing what is installed for me in the future would mean losing a lot of opportunity to courageously face trials and that the effort to win struggles would be of defeat and therefore nonsense. I want everyday to be always a surprise. Challenge is one of the spices in life that once you knew already, your plan and preparation will end up to be bland just like in your cooking.

hi, believe in your hard work today and i can guarantee your future will be more colorful and bright too. Hello dear we should not just believe what the fortune teller tells about you as they will only predict based on certain info. These days it is hard to find a genuine fortune teller or an astrologist whom you can believe as most of them are money minded. Moreover you should take up life's challenges as and when it comes, only that way you can gain knowledge, confidence and experience. So let's talk and live in our present and prepare ourselves for a prospective future.

I'm with you, I wouldn't want to know about my future because what if it was a bad future? Like you said you can't change the future or like the movies you try to change the future. Life is unpredictable and we should allow life to play it's game we can't just try and lead life ourselves. Life has it's ups and downs and we can't help if something happens. How would you feel if your future told you that you will die 2 days from now? I would do anything to stop that from happening and like lock myself in my house and try to prevent it from happening. We can't play gods and we should just let life do it's the trick.

i dont think anyone can tell the future. they are just scammers that try to rip people of their money and just give them hope.

No, I prefer not to know what you would tell me especially if it is bad because I will be thinking about that especially in my sleep. While if I say yes, I would be expecting too much and suppose it won't happen, then I will feel low. So it is better not to hear anything at all.

When I visit one of the fairs in my country I often see fortune tellers. Sometimes my husband asks me if I want to visit them, but I always say no. I don't want to know anything about the future. I think that it is more to interesting when I don't know what is going to happen. Some of the those fortune tellers are scammers who just want to earn money, but on the other hand I also believe that some of them have psychic abilities. I haven't experienced it myself, but one of my friends once talked to a clairvoyant who told her some things which later came true.

No way! I don't believe person who can tell us future. Future can't be predicted. Even though someone tell me about my future, it's not usually true. Future changes according to our act today, that's what I believe.
