Why are men lazy to wash their own car?

There could be a number of reasons why some do not wash their own cars and some that come to my mind is: * Convenience * Lack of time - working loads of hours or two jobs * Some just don't like to wash their own cars and enjoy the detail cleaning that a service does. * Some may not have the facilities and or area where to wash them at. For instance no garage at home and not able to wash it on busy streets. So you see unless I knew for a fact that all the above did not pertain it would not be easy for me to say it was out of laziness. If I knew someone who all the above did not pertain, then I can make the presumption that perhaps they are lazy.

I cant agree with this in regards to my family. My husband is obsesive about cleaning our car, inside and out. He very rarely will use the car wash actually unless we are going someplace special and he wants to have it waxed. Even after it rains or has been snowing our car is clean. I actually fuss to him about using all the towels for wiping down the car and not rewashing the junk ones and using them. I only use the carwash when its all slushy outside and my car is covered in it, mud and salt.
