Fasting as a potent political tool has made its comeback with Anna Hazare right up to Narendra Modi.Gandhi had used this means effectively in India's struggle for independence from the British rule. However now everything seems so over-hyped because of the media, telecommunications and social networking sites that I sometimes get the feeling that fasts are no longer noble exercises in self-sacrifice.However I have a lot of respect for Mr.Anna Hazare who fasted for a genuine cause in the interest of the nation.
What are your views on fasting?Do you think they are effective judging from Anna Hazare's success? Are fasts the flavor of the season?

It really doen't matter if he does it for 3 days or 3hrs. Main thing is that he is doing it. I am living in Gujarat and I am proud that I live here. Al most NO CRIME. I am living peacefully here. This is just because Modi is here. He have changed the map of Gujarat. Industries is desert. Tata came Gujarat, Ford will come in Gujarat and some other brands too will invest in Gujarat. Adani (Shiiping) is going great job. Providing employment to many and they too are earning well.
