Halloween Haunted Gingerbread Houses??

Last year was the first time I saw gingerbread houses made into haunted houses. They were absolutely adorable. Has anyone made one?? Do you make Christmas gingerbread houses?

I saw some last year, and they are cute, but making gingerbread houses was never done in my family, waste of good food in my mother's opinion... now I wouldn't make them even IF the cats allowed because the icing isn't safe for me (corn starch in the powdered sugar)
..We were never big on making them in my family as I was growing up but my kids wanted to make them so I did. LOL we ate our gingerbread houses..no wasting candy in my house

They are miniature houses made out of gingerbread dough and decorated with candy...some are edible, others are saved. Here are the ingredients and a link to see how they are made
How to Make a Gingerbread House
Ingredients
6 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
4 teaspoons ground ginger
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves or allspice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 sticks (12 Tbsp) butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup dark molasses
1 Tbsp water

that sounds adorable. I want to do one now.
on the extras part on the nightmare before Christmas DVD, there's a feature on how they do up the haunted mansion at Christmas with a nightmare before christmas theme, and a haunted gingerbread house is always one of the big parts of it.
