Visitations from the dead

There are a lot of TV shows about ghosts or spirit entities entering into our existence. Last night I saw a program "Long Island Medium".. and she was hilarious... the medium's daughter rolled her eyes at her behind her back. She asked her daughter if she rolled her eyes at her.. and said the spirits told her that her daughter did roll her eyes.
I do believe that spirits can enter into our plane of existence. One time when I was working I heard a bell ringing all around me.. first it was in back of me.. and no one was there.. then beside me... and still no one there.. and then finally right over my head.. it sounded like a little hand bell.
In the old days of the nursing home I worked in used to have hand bells for people to ring when they needed assistance. The call system wasn't very reliable, so everyone had a bell.. those days were long gone... but someone with an 'invisible' bell rung in a way that I felt was fooling around. Like a prankster.
There was also an orderly at the nursing home that always rattled the change in his pocket as he walked the halls. He died suddenly with a brain hemorrhage ... and one night we heard the change rattle, and we said.. "Travis is here!"

Oh my gosh. I can only hear and see them. But I never experienced being touched by them. My friend's experience was, while she was lying on her bed, she can't move or get up because some spirit was on top of her. It took for around half an hour before she can move again.

When I lived in a trailer a few years ago I had an experience of a lifetime. My room had a small bathroom in it with just a toilet, I seen a male figure walk out of my bathroom through my bedroom and into the living room. I was laying on my bad listening to music when it happened and I got up to look in the living room but nothing was there. My mom was in my brothers room hanging up clothes and she happened to look at the wires in the bottom of his closet. She took a picture of it to show the landlord what needed to be fixed but right after she took the picture, we noticed there was a face in the picture. The man wouldn't let my brother sleep at all, he would drag my brother and his blankets off the bed. Also, the day we were moving out, The spirit of the man grabbed a sheet that my mom had in her hands. It scared my mom to the point where me, my brother, and my dad had to finish packing.
I don't know if it's true or not but the story is that some men were playing poker in the trailer and someone was cheating and got shot. Also there is a story of two small girls being killed in the trailer as well.

It's not scary... except just unnerving at times when we were at that double wide.. but other than that it's not really been scary.

you can say martha is an expert in that, she has written several books about the paranormal and has gone to report on various sightings you should ask her about it. I do believe as I have some psychic ability myself, I don't see but I feel

I know she is. She got me to thinking about the paranormal to write this. I'm not as sensitive now to it as I was... or maybe I'm not being visited much anymore. My mom used to come around when I lived somewhere else.. I used to feel her actually come into my body and look out of my eyes... I could feel it when it happened. It wasn't scary.

Our door bells used to go off. First it would be the front door and then the back door.. I got so aggravated I yelled "STOP ringing the doorbells!" and it stopped and never did it since.

hi pointless!
i am not that familiar with a horror tv shows only i love to watch a horror movies , i don't have any experience in ghost , i didn't even see one , and i do not like to see , i love to watch a horror films :) i love to find a ghost but im scared :)

It usually happens to my family. During midnight, we will always hear someone in the kitchen, like someone is eating dinner. The first time we heard the noise, we went in the kitchen, and the utensils fall down from the table. But no one was there. I guess the spirits were surprised that we went to the kitchen LOL. After that, we never tried to go in the kitchen in the midnight even if we hear noises.

That kind of stuff happened all the time when my former husband and I lived in this double wide. A coworker wanted to move out of her home and live with her parents so she could go to nursing school and not have a mortgage to pay... so we rented it... for a while... 
we only stayed about 6 months or less because of all the activity there.. 
Stuff got gone all the time! I think my husband bought a bunch of hammers and wrenches because they kept being taken out of the drawers and gone! I mean these items always disappeared. We finally decided this place was not for us.

It happened to us too. Some personal things missing. But after a couple of days, we will find out that it's given back, to the same place. The main reason we kept on changing houses is because of the spirits. Sometimes it is really hard to sleep at night when you hear some weird noises. O.o

I have spoken to people who are no longer living, but I can't really explain it. I get messages, but they kind of appear as thoughts in my own mind. I know they're not something I would think, and I can never explain why the thoughts have come to me at that time. But I never truly know who the messages are from, as I don't see faces or hear their voices. Some of the messages are clear, as there are only a small number of people who would understand it, but others are more general and warning me of danger and things like that.

Exactly! I've had that too.. where I had a thought pop into my mind out of the blue.. I call it thoughts that I wasn't even thinking!
I've also felt my mom become part of me and I have felt her looking through my eyes... she hasn't done that in years. I think she keeps her distance now. When I had knee surgery and I was in so much pain, it seemed like to me she came to me a lot. Her words became my words and her thoughts became my thoughts.. I could feel when she came and went. That doesn't happen now though.

I have never seen or experience any thing like that. I have friend and family though who experienced such things. It's really a little eerie. Me and my cousins and friends would always talk about scary thing during All Souls Day to freak us out before going to the cemetery. I think the problem is there are a lot of haux out there that some people are skeptical even if the person is telling the truth.
