does it pay to have a lot of interest?

Ofcourse it does. The more interests you have the more options you've got open to answer which means more points. Even otherwise if in one of my interests the topics being discussed are not relevant I can jump to the other ones. Hope it helps.

i guess it pays a lot to have a lot of interest here on mylot. it gives us a lot of discussions to read and respond to. so it will also boosts our earnings, and so as our ideas.

I have been a member of MyLot for 3 years and during that I time I have added more than 1100 interests, but I tend to use the same interests most of the time. In the big interest categories there are many members and many new discussions and it is usually easy for me to find a discussion that I am interested in if I visit one of those categories. Every once in a while I visit some of the small interest categories and sometimes I am able to find an interesting discussion there as well. I think it is nice to many interests because it gives me the chance to write about a vast variety of topics and it makes it easier to find a discussion that I am interested in.

We all have plenty of interests which we can all relate to and share our opinions about. There's nothing wrong to have lots of interests just make sure you don't have doubled interests because it just clogs up your interest lists and gets rather annoying. You may not get paid just to have interests but the more interests you have, the better opportunity to earn. It's easier to start any discussion based on your interests and find relevant discussions that you can join. I often view my interests to find discussions I think I can relate to.

In my point of view the mylot is not paying for the interest. It pays only for number of discussions answered and the different topics you have answered. The mylot is not paying for the quality of post and the length of the post, it is enough if you post less than four or five lines. Note the information they had mentioned as "be descriptive as possoble" in the left corner of discussion box.

I didn't complete my list of interest, and I noticed it too. I think I have a good amount of interest, but most of the time there are always the same categories on the last discussions. I don't think mylot pay for interest. I am new here, but in nowhere I found this information and no one told something like it. But the good thing to have a lot of interest is to find a good topic. Don't you think you lose a lot of time trying to fing a good post? I do. I should complete my list of interest to avoid it, but I don't have much time to do it. Happy mylotting.

Having a lot of interests in mylot helps in a way because it is easier to spot discussions that would strike your interest, thus you get to respond to more discussions rather than going through an uncategorized list of discussions where you would have to pick which ones you're interested in.
