Metal?

I would say all off those clasicall metal bands. Each of them added a bit with their own unique style.

I think Slayer, Judas Priest among others were the most significant pioneer Metal acts to ever come out in the genre but in my opinion the most promising metal band that really defined metal music and the one who really brought it to a greater height is no other than the Metallica, they're unarguably the best Metal band and there's no doubt about that.

pretty sure those bands derived from listening to such bands as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and any other "heavy metal" band from the 1970's! So in reality, they created it!
