Why Facebook Keep on Changing Rules So Often.

Yeah! Facebook is fond of changing things around on people for just the hell of it sometimes and giving confusions to the members too.
As of this writing, they are changing again about the Timeline thing. And then there is the Fan page thing that needs to be secured comes October in order to stay public. Gosh! I don't know what to say, but it gives me an idea not to patronize Facebook anymore. I am an internet marketer and Fan pages are really important in promoting my products or affiliate links. I've read their rules about securing Fan pages and you need an SSL certificate.
SSL certificate are too expensive and they are renewable yearly like domain names. The problem with SSL certificate, if you purchase it outside other than your hosting, you will have a difficult time registering it to your hosting account sometimes they charge you separately. But I have discovered a fan page wordpress plugin that is already secured and all you have to do is integrate it to your facebook account. Voila! you have an awesome and exciting secured fan page and using wordpress is an advantage since you can edit it anytime you like. If you want a free copy just pm me.
Well no matter what Facebook decides to do, we have to abide with their rules if we want to continue to play on their playground. Can you share your ideas?

Yes, I am getting tired of the continual changes on Facebook and all I see happening is people using it less and less because of the changes. Realistically, Facebook could be trying to stay ahead of their rivals by keeping the site interesting with new features. As you say, if we continue to use Facebook, we are a slave to the modifications imposed. All any of us can do is voice our disapproval and hope Facebook responds.

I agree with you. But sometimes some things are also advantageous to your needs. I used Facebook to promote my products since they have a lot of members compare to other social medias. I guess they're already reaching the 600 Million mark. But if things will not work out anymore, I guess I need to find some other platforms to promote my products. Thanks.

Well its their site and we do not have powers to change their play. Its their playground and we must obey. If we do not obey then we will be kicked out of their playground. The sad thing about facebook is that they also keep updating and changing the site which is a little bit annoying. I know for others its a good news but for some users it is annoying because when they update it will take a month again and they will change and update again the facebook. I mean come on people are still coping up to the new update then you guys will update and change everything again. This makes confusion, instead of being a simple like before the site became more a little complicated specially for those who are new members of facebook. Oh well we cannot do anything about that because they are the management and we are just users who just playing on the grounds for free. Hey I heard this rumors that facebook will charge people for memberships is this foreal? Anyone of you guys can correct is this is true or not? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yah! I heard about that rumor but nothing is true. Maybe that's one from the facebook haters who got irritated on the new facebook changes (again!)

We just get used to the way facebook is, and they change it makes it hard for those who dont live on it. I'm on there each day having a look, but not a big fan of using the new set up.
Thou currently there is once again the rumour going round about making us pay for it. if they ever do that it will go from being a number one social site to zero in a very short time.

You are right, Its noticeable that facebook changes everytime. Sometimes its not good to look at and now it's become a boring site for me. The more they change the more users stopped patronizing them.
Whatsoever rules they have we must respect if we wanted to continue acting faceboholics but if we don't then hell with the changes..^_^
