My understanding is that when we share IP addresses that we need to fill out the affiliated form in the preference tab to assure that we are not looked at as having the multiple accounts.
When I read this in the link: http://www.mylot.com/nr/editaffiliations.aspx
"I am affiliated to the following username(s) and use the same computer and/or internet access for myLot.com. "
Kind of tells me it is best to complete the form, however if we are unaware who the person is that is using the same IP it can be a bit tricky. So if I was facing this situation, I would probably ask admin directly.
Because I read this in the FAQ section:
"Your accounts will be closely monitored due to the potential for abuse."
Kind of tells me that quite possibly I could put my account at risk. My recommendation would be to ask admin because they are the ones who can make the decision. Hope this helps.

Surekha take a look at the form, as it says about sharing computers, IP and PayPal. If anyone is confused it would be best to contact Admin (GoAskAlice). It is best because any member here saying something is correct when it is not can only put your own account at risk.

That is admins Profile, in which you do not have to be on friends list to send a message.

Surekha
I was not saying your account is at risk, I am conveying that it is best to get the correct information from admin then perhaps risking our accounts.

Many hundreds or even thousands of people share the same IP address. That is why there isn't enough to go round, for each person to have their own individual address, and IPv4 or to be upgraded to IPv6.
Any site that enforces this same IP policy clearly has no understanding of how the Internet works.
