what happened to CSI LAS VEGAS season 10?

I started watching this series last 3 months ago, and I was really impressed and interested. Back here in the Philippines, solving mysterious and almost near-to-impossible cases is a very big challenge since we lack proper and updated tools. That is why, I was really amazed to the series and very interested since it gives me a little knowledge about solving crimes. But when I started my training in the hospital, I was unable to watch the season 10 because I only got to finish the 9 series. So now I wonder, what happened to season 10. Maybe it's more thrilling and episodes are more exciting right?
