I was just recalling a time when I laughed a t complete stranger for something I saw him do. I should have laughed at least until I knew he was OK, but I couldn't help myself.
I was at the mall with my husband and it was closing time. The Sears store at the mall had just closed up their large mall entrance. The door they had to close it was a big glass door so you could still see inside. Well this guy walked right in to it, and bounced back he looked so funny I started laughing so hard I was crying. I know I shouldn't have until I knew he was OK, but like I said I couldn't help myself, thankfully he was OK physically although he was really embarrassed.
Have you ever laughed at someone you probably shouldn't have but just couldn't help yourself?

Gosh yes and it was an instant reaction and one I felt bad for later. I remember my son walking directly to a glass window which was so clear, he did not think it there was a glass. I did laugh hard then caught myself and comforted him, but then the both of us laughed uncontrollably.
This happened a long time ago, and can still laugh about it.

It is pretty funny at the time and find that we although do not mean harm we sort just instantly laugh. This reminds me of a few years ago where one of friends who at the time was in her later 20's was always falling. I have no idea how she did this, but she tripped on her purse that was hanging from her shoulder. It was not a long handled purse and we have no idea how she did that. It was a group of six of us and we all busted out laughing. It is something only she could do. She was a bit ashamed that she too laughed.
What was not funny is that she broke her leg. but what became funnier is that broken leg and all she still went to the club to dance. To this day we all still laugh at her and she too thinks it is funny. We say no injury stops her.

I'm glad she was able to laugh at it, and still can. My daughter is pretty accident prone as well. She is constantly tripping over things and walking in to the corners of walls. No major injuries she just kind of misjudges where the corners are. She does things like this so often I have just started to say, "That's my girl." When ever I hear her bang in to something or scream ouch...

Yes, this mistake has happen many times with me. Almost once in a week this tends to happen. Although i don't at times i don't understand but when mistake happens i feel bad and then i literally feel very sorry for my laugh when its not the right time. I can give a good example of mine recently. Me and my friends work together in a office when it was time our boss took a meeting. As usual the meeting was going on so one of my friend asked a little weird question and boss got little irritated and i laughed because of the silly question although everyone was quite, this moment was very embarrassing for me. My attitude got changed from this scenario that whatever may it happen we should always keep our self in control and respect others thought.

That is so funny! I would have laughed too. Yes, I have done this. I did it when I hit my husband in the head with a frisbee really hard. I was laughing and crying at the same time. I was completely upset that I hit him, but the circumstance was so funny I couldn't help but laugh. I was worried I blinded him. Thank goodness he was okay and he thought it was funny too, once the pain subsided.

It is hard to know if laughing might offend others, but it really is a physically harmless thing. I think it may seem inappropriate at times, or even obnoxious, but laughing is good for the soul.
I am guilty of uncontrolable laughter at situational comedy. But if laughing is wrong then I don't want to be right.

in one o our leisure trips to the beach, one of our companions was old. she was wearing an anti-emboli stocking. She wanted to go on swimming. SO Removed her stockings with a help form one of our companions too. She wore her swimsuit but the thing was , she has a big tummy that she float, it looks like ball floating on the sea. I laughed at her that was lying on the sand of laughing. It's good she was not offended by it. The next thing she did was, to put on the stockings again. She had asked somebody to help her because it was very hard or her but instead of helping her, we allow her to do it on her own. Since it was very difficult she raised her legs up in the air just to pull the stockings down to enter her feet. and the worst part is while she was in that position, i took a photo of her while laughing.

this is a very common situation for me. when i see someone do something like this i always laugh. it is not something i think to make him feel bad or insult him. it just happens.

I probsbly have and I know that my daughter most definately has. There was one time that my husband was working on one of the vehicles at the time and radiator water splashed all up his arm. My daughter was young and she was sitting on the back steps of our old house and laughed at him because she thought he was dancing. He had gotten burned really bad and my daughter felt so bad because her daddy got hurt and she laughed.

Just the other day as a matter of fact my son was just walking and he somehow managed to just fall down. I started laughing right away and then I realized he might actually be hurt. He wasn't though so it was OK, but he did pretend like he was hurt for a second just to make me feel bad. It worked I actually believed him and I actually felt bad about laughing at him. Then he was laughing at me.

I am sure we have all had times when we laughed at someone and we should not have. Whenever this has happened to me, i would feel guilty or embarrased by it. At the time it might have seemed like the thing to do, but later realization was a blow.

Yes I did, I was about 11 years old.
I laughed out of nerves or shock. I was waiting outside of school for my mother to pick me up. An old lady crossed the road and a motorcycle drove into her, she made some kind of salto's in the air till she fall down on the road.
I laughed about that. Not because I thought it was funny. It took me a long time to realize that. And yes I did go to her to wait next to her till the ambulance came.
