Hey people what do you think was meteorite or a satellite?

NASA said that a satellite will crash down to the earth on the day Saturday September 17, they said that the day for the crash will be September 24th.
The satellite fell on September 23rd in to the sea, (at least that is what they say).
Yesterday a "meteorite" fell in Argentina but I don't think it was a meteorite I think that was the satellite or a part of it.
What do think it was?
