Would you buy an e- book written by a teenager?

Does age even matter for a public? I've heard of successful teen writers but they are few. I know I wouldn't care about the age if I can tell there's good quality, reliable and good reviews or background knowledge. Maybe a sample would be necessary to convince the public.

I too do not think age matters. If the book is interesting the age might be a plus for a particular perspective. A sample would be good..but the age doesn't really have to be revealed.

I never know anything about authors. I just read their books and don't really care whether they're male, female, old, young or a blind goat. As long as they write well, I'm a very happy bunny!

I don't think it matters, really. Unless the subject matter was only fit for teens, I don't think anybody would actually know the age of the author unless it was specifically mentioned. It would also depend upon the subject matter, and what the author has written about the contents, whether I would buy it or not. It wouldn't matter to me if the author was a teen, or a well-seasoned author, as long as the content was good quality. Yes, samples are a good idea, it's always good when promoting a book to have a short blurb or two with actual content from the book, as well as chapter outlines as to what type of contents are covered in the ebook. Good luck!
