I am watching the Michael Jackson trial. Opening statements were today. What is your opinion of the trial? What about having cameras in the courtroom? What impact if any, will cameras have on the trial? Please share your thoughts. Thank you so much!

I think it's all a circus just like Michael's life was. Because it's a high profile case is why cameras have been allowed plus of course people want to hear of the Dr's negligance. And of course it keeps an interest in Michael and his music aside from his tragic passing.

Hi there Mandalee
We don't get to see it all here in the UK, we just get snippits. It sounds like the doctor is gonna go down for it after hearing what the body guard had to say. I have no idea what a difference it makes if you can view what is going on or not. It is a very high profile case and will get media coverage regardless of if the cameras are in the courtroom or not.
