The Godfather without any question is a great book of all time.I still remember the first time I watch the movie based on this book how I was shocked. After that I've been reading the book time after time.I still believe that the world we live in was so complicated that we cannot easily define whether it's a good world or a horrible world.I was just too deeply affected by this book.
I know you love reading this book too.But how does this book affect you?

I agree with you, The Godfather IS the best ever book of all times. I knew the world around us was really complicated and really not safe also for many of us out there, but still it came as a shocker for me when I first read it. I had read about a lot of things that are really horrible, terrible, disgusting etc. but this one was too straightforward, smack on the face. Shocking and stunning, I still love reading it yet.

Yes, I have read The Catcher in the Rye" too, and I agree that is one of the best books ever written! My favorite too, although I have some other favorites too. Incidentally, what do you think about Mario Puzo's "The Family"? Have you read it?
