Favorite Music Genre?

I love heavy metal, and screamo as well. It's the music that best describes me and how I am. I was in a heavy metal/screamo band several years ago. I was never really good at playing guitar but I recently started playing again and I am getting good. I was always the vocals in the band.

I truly love alternative, punk and screamo. Those are my favorite genres and probably the only music I'll download or buy the CD of. My friends don't really like these genres as they prefer the pop music industry such as rap and pop stars and they often criticize my favorite genres of music. They just tease and joke about but I don't mind. I also do listen to pop music on the radio as well when I'm listening to my favorite radio station but nothing music I would actually buy or download though. Everyone is unique and have different music taste. Though, it's always the popular pop music that received the most recognition from their fans and the news media.

It's hard to say which is my most favorite genre of music in that I love many genres of music very much. I like Dance, some hip hop, Soul, Mediterrenean, Middle Eastern, some techno, Classic Rock, some Heavy Metal, Country, Celctic, Native American, Greek folk, American Folk, Opera, Classical, Baroque, some Medieval, Pop My list goes on and on; therefore, there are so many that it would be hard to list them all.

I love classic rock, lite rock and 1980's music.

To be honest I love all types of music. I know a lot of people will say that, and then say something like, "Except rap/techno/country". But personally I love music in general, so I judge whether or not I like a song by the song itself, not it's genre/style. There are some heavy metal songs I like, and some that I don't; there are some pop songs I like, and some I don't. But genre-wise I can listen to anything from screamo to soundtrack music to country to rap. I also listen to songs in all different languages. K-Pop (Korean Pop) and J-Rock (Japanese Rock) have some really awesome songs that would definitely be in the top charts here if they'd been in English. There are also some amazing German and French rock bands that make pretty tight melodies... so I never judge music based on what genre it is labeled as. I listen to a song and I either like it or I don't.

my favorite music genres are two. psychedelic rock of the 60's and hardcore of the 90's. it reminds me of the old and keeps going on the new.

I am pretty addicted to music, all kinds of music. I enjoy listening to songs and music of other countries and cultures too. My favorite ? Well, I would say, classical, Mozart, Chopin, Johan Strauss, Brahms, Beethoven, and so on. I keep a collection of CDs of classical music, and listen to the every evening after getting back home from work. That's my way of relaxation !

I prefer the soft and lyrical musics, both songs and pure music. But I also like the music with our traditional drama characters. It's a totally new feeling. I also like the Amerian country music.
