Facebook's latest redesign has made it easy for the user to see who has removed them from their friend list. Previously, the only way to tell someone had unfriended you was to go to their page & notice that you have lost access to their personal details. But now new introduced 'Timeline',that shows all activities of a user in chronological order, enables user to see which friend 'unfriended' them. According to the news, the new design doesn't go live until 29 sept. But people have figured out a simple means for enabling the beta version.

Thanks for the information . There are so many modifications in fb that at times it's confusing . I think it will make one sad to know who unfriended you . May be the previous version was better . But truth must come to light sooner or later .

it cannot be helped that there will come a time when some friends get tired of the relationship the way it goes. this is a fact which holds true even in our social networking activities. some people are not so careful with the use of words and expressions and thus might have offended the person who has deleted one from his friends list. but, of course, reasons for having dropped someone as a friend in a networking site, varies so broadly.

I think this new feature will not work for FB. A lot of people will remove a friend in their list but are too kind to let that friend know that his been removed. The current feature would just let the removed friend to realize that his been removed when there's no more access to the other person's wall. I think this new feature is similar to friendster's feature where you will know the people visiting you and you have to change settings if you want to visit someone without the other person knowing it. That feature didn't worked for friendster since the people who don't know how to change settings just stopped searching for friends anymore and worse just stopped using the site at all. But that's just my opinion.

Thanks for your response and for sharing your information on friendster & his somelike similar feature. What could i say,you just predict the future of FB's feature. As per my opinion,it is an improvement & every improvement is useful for people. It doesn't matter whether it is popular/successful or not.

Well it's just an opinion and I'm not an expert. What didn't worked for friendster may work for FB and the other way around. I just thought that with this new feature may sound offensive to those who were removed and people who want someone removed will just suffer in silence for fear that the person who will be removed will be offended since this feature is very straight forward. If I were to have a choice I would rather that people whom I remove from my list won't be notified since that way they won't know that they've been removed, some won't even realize it at all not unless they'll visit my page.

Placing ourselves in the shoes of the person who was "unfriend" in FB, he/she would feel hurt or rejected. What do you think was the purpose of having this feature? Until now, I don't know how you'll be able to determine how to see people who have visited your account. Is there such a feature? What other improvements does FB has released? Have a nice day.

Yeah,it feel rejected whensome has removed you from their friendlist. But what would you say,if one of your close friend has removed you mistakenly from their friendlist that time i think this new feature really helps you.

Thanks for sharing this information. I am not sure if it's totally a good idea since allowing someone to know that you have removed him/her on your friend list has some pros and cons. Anyway, my main facebook is currently deactivated for various reason. Also, is it just me or everyone also thinks that each new feature facebook implements just makes things more complicated?

I think if they won't know that I delete them is good, but I don't like when the people notice that I have deleted them. But for me if that person is just there and never have to talk to me so why should I have them in my friend list. I this new design of FB works.

Oh really? It's good to know if someone unfriended us, so we can ask the reason. But if the people that we add is really - really our friend (not just "internet friend") i believe they won't remove us as their friend.

i would personally consider this to be a good feature indeed. surely, this will cut greatly time that one will have to spend as to who among the usual friends have dropped from the roster. there are some facebook people who have so many friends. just keeping track as to who have been dropped from the list is quite a task in itself. i wonder though if it is a good thing to have plentiful friends in facebook rather than keeping the numbers low. i have so few facebook friends myself. have a good day, omblues.

i don't have a facebook but i think this features will make more problem with people in facebook. Many of facebook users become angry with each other because of what they write in facebook, now this feature will make more people lose their real life friends. Or maybe facebook real function is to break an offline community..
