The goverment brought into force a regulation barring commercial calls and sms,giving relif to millions of mobile's subscribers.
To avail the service;
-You can register your no. to 'National customer preference registry' earlier known as 'National do not call'registry,by dialing toll free no.1909.
-You can also send a SMS 'Start 0' to the same no. to get register.
-Registration will become effective within 7 days.
New regulations allows user to choose from different categories like 'fully blocked' or 'partially blocked'.Under the partially blocked category,user can choose to receive communication from desire sector like education,health etc.

yeah from yesterday TRAI has put some restrictions regarding cell phone i think this is good step that the government have taken. Friend i want to highlight one more important rules that is implemented by TRAI that now you can avoid the call which comes from company or telemarketing company,now a persons can easily identify calls coming from telemarketers as these numbers begin with the three digits - '140'.
