There was news about typhoon names Nesat crossed Philippines that made the Capital Manilla to standstill and forced the closure of Philippines stock exchange and US Embassy. There were pictures about people in waist deep flood water moving on the road. I really hope and pray for the people's safety and wish the situation is back to normal as soon as possible. I also see many My Lot members belong to this country and am concerned about them too.

It was really tragic. There are still areas here that are waist-deep and some even neck-deep. Some areas are still inaccessible and a number of our countrymen are still trapped on rooftops. There's another typhoon in the loom and it is rumored that it is stronger than the past 2 typhoons that hit us. Please pray for our country.

I was thinking about this the other day. The Philippines is a small country, and that makes them more vulnerable to natural disasters such as a typhoon. Furthermore, I am pretty certain the country has already been through some flooding already. It really is quite tragic and I hope they are able to get on their feet again. Waist high flood water is no laughing matter.

The typhoon is almost over, however, there are various places where the effect is so terrible. It is a good thing that the typhoon is leaving or else it could make matters worse. Thank you for your concern, I'm sure a lot of our people will appreciate that. There were a lot of power outages in some areas, but hopefully the electricity is now restored. Please pray for those who perished, those who lost belongings, those who got hurt, and their families.

It really is a tragic event. I saw a video of the news in BBC. Is the Philippines okay now? I saw the video yesterday and I heard the typhoon was in the Philippines for a week now. Is the typhoon still in the Philippines? I hope not, poor kids.
