How do you think of early education/childhood education?

Not long ago, one of my friends talked about her one and half year old daughter's education, when her daughter is only half year old, they sent her to a baby trainning certer to make her get trainned, not only physically but also in emotion. And this kind of trainning usually charged by hour.and the fee is quite expensive, compared with the local economy. the point is they still unsure is this worthwhile or not? what made them sure about it is their daughter does have some progress.and they wish her can get the best education as much as they can do . so , how do you think about this kind of early education, my dear friends ?Does people in your country send their babies to baby trainning center to get trainned? In China, the education make people feel absurd ,worried, we think the Chinese children can't enjoy their childhood, for they have too much homework to do.And parents are so herd, they not only need to send children to different training schools to study different skills, like Art, Music,Dancing, English.....lots of things, but they also need to pay a lot for this.I know foreign countries may different, so I am wondering how do you think of this.
