We all know that day by day, all products are become much costlier and can't afford the prices. Are you bothered about it and have you taken any measures to controlled buying and try to save some cents for the future?

hello thanks, No matter how we tried to control and budget our income, we cannot do anything with the price increasing each day. The only thing that I can control is using my car. Thu, I hate commuting due to dust and smoke,I have to do it to save gas which is too costly nowadays. but with other things, I am not good with conserving anymore. Have a good day

I am very concerned and definitely try my best to control my buying. I do comparison shopping and try to buy things on sale. I also use coupons. A few months ago, I was able to get $400 worth of groceries for only $115 by shopping sales and using coupons. I felt like I won the lotto that day!!

You can accomplish things if you put your mind to it. Some people do not think they can save money but that is not true. There are many ways we can save money. We just need to sit don and evaluate our expenses. Most of all, we need to stop complaining and do something about it!

Nice of you. Always we have our own choice. If we got enough patience, we can go for a better deal. In your case also you proved it. If we can wait for some time more, or think of the time, we can save, like how you managed to do. All the best.

I have always been quite good at only bying what I need but, what I used to do was buy extra of things that run out sooner, say like milk and bread and then freeze so much of it but, to be honest it was taking up too much freezer space so instead I just buy that as and when I need it now instead!

This is where competitors come in giving us more choices and helps us decide how to budget our money. For those who stick with the old brands, they have to suffer from the increasing prices, but for those who are wiser and willing to take risks and save money, they open their mind to new products. It's a matter of demand and supply. Economics. If one is good in thinking how to save money, then it's something that one need not worry about. This is constant change.

As long as we have choice around us we can go for it. For eg, to buy a mobile phone also, we can keep a choice of $50 to $5000. So, those who have more money in their hand their choice is higher and less earners may get satisfied with the lover priced things. But we should always calculative upon our income and expenditure graph in place otherwise we have to face bad consequences.

hi, we can have a plan for the expenses but because of unexpected price hike of some products, our expenses plan break and we all need to do is to adjust what we plan for our expenses.so still its more nice to save money until we cant predict increasing of prices.

You are right. The prices of each and everything has increased many fold and it is really beyond our prediction and control. Any way, if we are strict on certain unwanted items and go for a moderate approach with the situations would be applicable. I used see people just get into the malls and shopping centrers and bag everything which required and not at all useful but just for a fancy. We can save 10-15% if we are going with a wise and intelligent shopping. Thanks for your comments.

yes, all product prices are increasing almost everyday and we still have the same low salaries. this is the reason why i list the things that i need to buy in the grocery so that i wont be tempted to buy other things that is really not needed.

I think you are doing the right way of shopping and using so economy mode of life. This is a recommended method in these days as long as everything is around us and we can buy them whenever we needed.

I am a bit bothered by it...and have started to watch my spending. Like using coupons...waiting for sales. The only thing I feel like I can't control is the price of gas. I don't go through alot but still it just seems so high!

I think the prices of gas is increased tremendously and globally. Most of the countries have increased the prices 3-4 times more with in the 6 month time period and still expected to go up. Oil price hike is the virus. Once the prices of oil and related products are increased, simultaneously each and every one increases the prices in the name of gas price hike.

Hi thanks. It is a bitter truth the cost of every product is become dearer but the earnings are still on the same. I really can’t understand what to do with the increased cost of living. I can’t find any unnecessary things in day to day life for cutting down. In addition there is health problems occur many often. I learnt it from many friends and other contacts, all are facing health issues and now it becomes a major concern through out the place.

A major section of our society is really suffering and finding hard to live. The govts. and the others are simply closing their eyes on the minority who really suffer from such social injusties. Their voice is never heard or their problems never get resolved. It is the time of the rich and the exploitors.

Hello thanks ! The thing is, in Romania, the prices are higher then Germany and in some cases even England. The ironic thing is that our salaries here are 10 times smaller then those there. We buy coupons for high discounts for going out (cinema, restaurant, pool, ice skating ) pretty much everything that we believe has a fair (and real) value compared to the salaries here.

I think you can enjoy the benefits of coupons for some extent. Similarly we also get some food coupons as part of our salary which is exempted from tax. However, this is not a major one as compared to our salary also.

I dont buy things that i dont need and or say i want that because a want a need are two different things. I also have started christmas shopping and started about two months ago to get things done early and not run out of money buying things last minute as well. I also use coupons when im grocery shopping and always look for the better deal on things as well and get the cheapest of the cheapest when it comes to buying things as well. Now im working on mylot soi can order a christmas present online for my boyfriend and i have been saving my money in my paypal account to order this and will probably only have to spend about 5 dollars on it and that will be good and it will help me out too.

You got nice ideas. May seem simple, but if we workout in such a way and having plans in mind we can do it slowly and whatever we save is an experience to do better in future.

I used to worry about prices, but found that worry is a useless emotion. So now I just plan better and figure out ways to increase my income in order to afford the things I really love. There's always money and if others can afford common wants in life, so can I. Instead of programming myself on what I can't have, I now tell myself I can have whatever I want and just go for it.

This is also advisable that we can get whatever we want with our money. But there is a group of people who go for it and spend a lot more money for unwanted things and after some time, they will just go for another lot of things once they found fed up with things. A choice with most needed things can reduce money burden and savings can be increased. When we found that we got a nice money reserve with us, the inclination to add more on is a pleasure and passion instead of extravagance.

Hi thanks: In my case, my technique to improve my private economics is by having a strict budget where I save some money, I know exactly what I need and how I am going to use my money. I think that when you have planned the way you use your money you can find the answers and the best prices to your need which is very important these days. ALVARO

Hi Star, This is what I am expecting from everyone. We should consider the value and importance of money. There is a group of people who never cares of it as they belongs to the higher strata of the society and ordinary people always try to compete with them or try to imitate to reach upto them by spending whatever they left with. The result we all can understand. Better planning and wise spending is the need of the day. Thanks for your comments.

Over the long term, wages have not been keeping up with inflation. A few decades ago, in Western countries, it was normal for a man to have a normal job and be able to buy a house and support a wife who didn't work and raise a couple of children and still save for retirement. Now, often both of a couple work and they can't afford to have children nor pensions. White people are being replaced by immigrants of other races in these countries as a result. I'm not racist (I'm talking about Western countries because I know less about the rest of the world - I know there are very serious problems in some places) but I do think there's been a sneaky genocide against the European race, partly by economics and partly but family planning which has mainly been directed at Europeans and Chinese. Not only are prices going going up but an increasing number of products are mysteriously disappearing. Small farms are increasingly been replaced by agro-business. There's increasing hostility against people who want to raise food in their gardens (I heard of a woman who was actually sent to prison for it recently) or grow "organic" food. You just can't grow organic food if the GMO seed from your neighbors' blows onto your fields and you get sued but the seed company for copywrite infringement. Basically the whole system is being set up so it fails your needs and prevents you from helping yourself.

Hi dear, I can really understand your feelings and you are trying to tell more about many things with few words. Though I didn't travelled out of my country, I can estimate the pain and sufferings of lot many people who are under low wealthy conditions. Mainly our wealth is concentrated on few rich people and some of the politicians and partially with corporates. All companies and corproates are trying to increase their profits and the existing govts. are trying to support them to make sure of their power in place. The minorities are always sufferers and they never have any escape and to suffer till their end. Govt. has so much of schems and plans but never reach their hands and the peole on top only sharing the major part. As long as the currouption is not eradicated, this will remain for ever and it is not so easy to eliminate as well. Thans for your valued words and I am eager to know more from you in the coming sessions. Thank-s

Hi I have retired early by a few years, my retirement age will be 65 when I will receive state pension. I have always had an household budget and for some years have held it on computer. I look at what we buy and try to find the best place to buy that, plus looking for special offers. The highest costs are usually things we can't change much like local tax and household power. Most power companies charge about the same but I have fitted a new gas boiler and made the house more insulated and have really noticed how much gas is saved because of that. We had an extra freezer in the garage, that being there is only two of us in the house, we didn't need. Also because we are both home we can buy fresh more often so we don't have to have an extra freezer keeping items frozen and adding more value to them. Better meal planning also decreases what we have to hold in the freezer. This has also shown as a saving on the electric bill. By being more efficient we are really getting on top of expenditure.

hi friend, I'm concerned but I do not let it bother me that much, I have lived to realize that prices will always go up no matter what as long as the prices of oil keeps going up and there is inflation. I think the best approach is to find other means to increase income by finding other means to earn in order to off-set the inevitable rise in prices especially of basic goods and commodities. Ah yes don't spend on something that you do not really need cause that should go to savings, have a nice day

Only I mean to say there are a lot of things around with attractive norms and tempting business trends to attract people and we normally spend a lot for unwanted things especially when the prices are so up. So that if we got a restricted spending nature, we can keep some money balance which can be used for our future necessities.

Yes this is so true. Even of they are compared to just last year, things have gone so much expensive now. I wonder if there'll be time where we can't even afford to have a decent meal. I have had a bit of cuts backs on some stuffs and I don't but things that aren't necessary. I used to buy unnecessary stuffs just coz they were beautiful and appealing before!
