My cat will have a whole day out on sunday playing in the fields.
We have people visiting for tea and they will bring there two dogs with them. Our cat doesn't like dogs so he will go out to play for the whole day.
He is a very good cat as he will come back when he knows the dogs have gone home and he doesn't mind that the dogs have been in his house.
Does your cat like dogs? How do they react when dogs have been in there house. One of these dogs that is going to visit actually gets in our cats bed but our cat doesn't seem to mind that the dog has been in his bed. He is a very good cat.

We don't entertain at go
E because our apartment is very small. We don't take our cat out either. We believe that the animals who live in the house take precisence over visitors, and would never expect someone to remove their own pets because ours was present. We'd never bring our cat to someone's house with the expectation they remove their pets.

Cats are more veristlye than dogs, we haven't time to look after a dog, you couldn't really take a cat to someone's else's house as they are differenrt to dogs.
If our cat showed that he was bothered by the dogs then we would ask the people not to bring there dogs.
We do hope to get a dog one day so we shall choose a quiteish sort of dog so the cat isn't upset by the dog.

Our cats are inside only cats, but if a dog comes over they don't know, there are plenty of places for them to go that the dog can't get to them.
Some, like Booboo, love dogs, some, like Zhaan would as soon leave them.
Our dog, Zoe, gave Taj his first bath and she loves him, Taj likes her too, not as crazy over dogs as Gabby or Boo tho...

When I was growing up most of my time was spent at my grandmother's. She had a dog named Brownie. He was a good ole dog. Used to follow us to the store no matter how my grandmothers tied him up. He was a sweetheart. So my grandmother had found this cat and she was caring for it. One morning we came out to the kitchen to find this cat was curled up sleeping at Brownie's belly. They were pals from then on.

Our ranch cats like the ranch dogs but don't do well with strange dogs, they live longer that way. But I have to tell you about a cat that truly loved dogs. This was a yelow cat and when he was very small we had a black great dane dog, for those that don't know this breed it is a very large breed. One day we could not find the yellow kitten, we could hear it purr but just couldn't find it, then finally we noticed a wet, tail hanging out of the Gread Dan's mouth, that tail was socking wet. As we got closer sure enougth that's were the purr was coming from.
That dog would carry the cat in his mouth until the cat got to big, then the dog would never be found sleeping alone, the cat was always tucked into that sleeping dog somewhere. We had to find a new home for the great dane, he just got to big for us but the cat lived with us all of his life and he always loved dogs.

I have a dog and 2 cats. The female is an outdoor cat,she only comes in for food, and in the winter to sleep(when it is really cold). She does not like the dog and let's him know it.But if she is hungry, and he is sleeping in front og the door, she will jump over him to go to her dish! The male is a rescue,he was declawed on all for paws,so we do not let him out.He stands up to the dog and tries to slap him around when he gets to close( the dog caught on the lack of claws and wants to play!) so the cat takes off!many times I find the dog sleeping in his bed ,in our bedroom, and the cat sleeping on our bed.Peaceful and quiet!

One of my cats is already getting that luxury. He loves spending time outside.

I have two cats and a dog so my two felines don’t mind the dog at all although I don’t know how they would be with someone else’s pooch! My two cats are indoor cats so I would not dream of letting them go outside unsupervised! We don’t know anyone who would bring a dog over so I guess we are pretty safe. If a visitor was to turn up with their dog I’m afraid their pet would have to stay on the veranda!

Thats awesome that you can let your cat outside.
Neither of my kitties are allowed outside. I don't want to deal with fleas, or having one of them beat up by an outdoor cat.
We have several feral cats in surrounding neighborhoods, and I don't want to deal with my cats getting hurt.
Last year my husband's son and his wife came down without calling or asking. they btought 3 dogs with them.
Since they did not call and I had my two house cats they stayed in a hotel.
I can only imagine what it would have been like for my poor kitties LOL
