Although I earn way over the minimum each and every month from the first day I signed up with myLot, I would say no one on myLot will ever be rich and or earn enough such with an offline job. The incentive for participating is merely a bonus and although it can add to other online earnings we must know that it can't be enough here to make a living off the site.
If you feel you may need a break then do so and keep you profile intact. myLot does not delete accounts for inactivity. The only thing is that if there are earnings in your account, you need to log in once prior to 90 days or your earnings will be zeroed out. You don't need to participate just log in.
So this might be a route you may want to reconsider with instead of canceling your account.

Hi jodylee!
I find that if we can be honest with anyone who thinks about signing up, like referrals, they will find that they can earn the additional dollars and be more apt to participate as opposed to being tricked. There are so many misleading articles on the net of those trying to capture referrals that the referrals come here thinking they are going to make loads. It is after a day or two they realize it is not enough and quit.
I much rather have a referral making the few dollars yet enjoying their time here, as opposed to the hundred of referrals with (0) participation that I see a great deal.
As you know the more fun we have on the site the earnings simply flow, it sure is nice each time PayPal sends the notification as the bonus is like a thank you for my appreciated participation.

So true! I do not have any referrals and think I found this site by accident really. I have not found a site on the internet that I can make a living off but can certainly see how people are mislead into believing it is the answer to their financial needs.
I imagine a lot of referrals just leave after a couple of days. It is exciting to me that I come here most days and see my balance go up. I am not fully understanding of the payout, is it automatic or do you need to request it?
I love to see the honesty in your responses, it is so true that people should understand the reality rather than live under the illusion and wind up disappointed.

Just saying.
Mylot is not about making money quick. It is not made for you to generate income fast...you should work hard to be able to reach payout like any other program online. I am not able to cash out for so long because of my offline work. It means that if you don't post or participate in discussions you'll not be able to earn some money. Besides, you only created few responses/discussion you should try harder and be a lot more active. You are always welcome to come back in here.

MyLot is not a get-to-rich site where you will earn hundreds or so. Earnings in MyLot is really low compared to other online jobs however, it's worth to stay here if you want assurance that your effort in partipating in discussions will be compensated. What matters is, MyLot is legit, honest and paying. There's a lot of scam sites online and very rare are those who are legit and paying. If you want to get high earnings in mylot, then you have to sacrifice more of your time in participating to a discussion. You may also use MyLot search and get the chance to earn approximately $0.10 to $0.18 by simply serching the web.

Don't quit mylot before you give it a chance! This is a great site to make friends and earn a few dollars. Maybe you are not taking advantage of all it has to offer. Do some tasks, use the search engine and participate in discussions. You will soon get the hang of it.

earning money here takes time, i have been a member here for about 1 year. After signing up to mylot sometime a year ago i stayed on this site for a few months and then quit, just a month ago i came back to this site. Even if you are quiting mylot do not delete your profile as you might want to come back later.

Don't give up on the site. Participate, start discussions and post in others. It will all pay off in the end. I've been paid once by this website and I'm back because I need to earn more money. I like it here and it's a good site with a good community of people. The tasks are good, but don't leave just because there aren't any tasks you want to do. If you leave you're missing out on a good site.

I am an old-timer here in mylot. However, it has been years since i last received a payment. I have been on a participate-stop route for years now. So whatever may it be that i am supposed to have earned, i get to lose to time. I do not have any idea as to how long before i would lose all of my earnings if i fail to get online for months or years.
When i tried to get back doing mylot days ago, i had to reorient myself because I seem not to know my way around here anymore. No i have never ventured about trying to participate in those tasks. I feel awkward and not knowing how to do those tasks.
I am sorry that i cannot give you a sound advice about what you are going through right now. I just hope that you think deeply on it first before finally giving it a go. Good luck. I am in the dark right now as to the ways of making money around here. It has never been easy to earn those ten dollars in a month. It used to require so many hours doing computing to earn it.

whitney 1 let me guess, first you did not read the guidelines,or any ,my lot information, nor the questions and answers either? You got a lot of discussions deleted and did not spend hardly any time here and you expected to make a hundred dollars a day? first why not really read all the stuff mylot admins has for you then try to use it the way you should and make quality posts, not one sentence nonsense but longer more descriptive and put a little work in it. I make at least 24 dollars a month and used to make40 a month., you will not get rich here but do quality work, and participate and you wil make pay off every time.mylot has never promised anyone you would make the salary you would on an offline job. if you come here with realistic demands, read the info and follow the rules, make friends and make quality posts you will enjoy my lot as its a great social place and a discussion forum too.but you will not get paid for nothing you must actually participate here. so its up to you and what you want to do of course but a lot of users leave here without ever having actually given mylot a real try.
