Ever wonder why others know what you're doing at the moment? that's because our private life is now becoming public through facebook. i guess it's important to minimize putting our personal details in FB and limit it to our friends, the ones that we really know. agree?

I think that all social networking websites are making it possible for us to see things that everyone is doing and, because of this, we no longer like to miss out on things that are posted on there. This can turn us into people who we don't like, and we will find that we become almost addicted to seeing what other people are up to in their lives. I think that this is only going to get worse, as we are sharing more and more things online every single day. So we are going to have to prepare to be in a completely different world.

I agree with you Xes210 and that what i actually do. I never accept request from person that i don't know or ever meet. They might be a risk in my life and i'm afraid to be abducted. hahahaha. That's funny though but we never know what would happen, it's better to be safe always and take precautions.

yeah. i make it a point to pick who to accept. but i think it also helps that you don't really put too much on the site because you'll never know who could use your details for something else no matter if you're friends or not. they might even do it unconsciously. Like if you post a picture and someone tags himself, you're then basically sharing your picture to your friend's friends. so better keep it on the down low and don't share too much.

That's why i like the new changes in FB at the moment regarding tagging a picture. Because the owner of the picture could receive notifications if the picture was tagged by someone and he/she has all the capacity wither to approve or reject it. the best thing is to periodically check the privacy setting to make sure that the only person you wanted to view your pictures or status are those people you trusted and you know.

Yes, I agree. Facebook can be a source of mishap if we don't get careful. There are people out there waiting to take the chance of hurting and harming people and to save ourselves from them, we must protect ourselves by not being too trusty and bold about our every day's doings!

Actually Facebook does not really all your personal info as long as you don add the person. So it's a but safe that way. But still in social networks it's not always possible to add a person you know. Attractive people of course catches the eye of any human being. So it's surely dangerous!

That is the reason why we should think twice our actions especially when we post things/activities that we do on our FB walls. We should be reminded to use the privacy setting to ensure that only the people we know could view our wall postings. Because the danger there is that, what if you posted the place you are at the moment and you are alone. the risk for a crime to happen would be possible.

True. People these days have been putting up everything on facebook. Even their numbers and their plans and what nots. I think that is very dangerous and people should minimize what they share on there. There have been news of people stalking through facebook and murders and stuffs brrr scary!!

why can't they perceive this dangerous things that might happen? it doesn't need to work that way. well we can still enjoy with facebook even without telling the world or private lives. there were reported violent cases because of this, even abduction. so its really important to keep some privacy with our activities in facebook.
