Why lie and say item shows light signs of use when clearly it's not light?

WHAT! LOL the item looks like someone took a sledge hammer to it, and went to town, or through the item against a wall or somthing hahaha How does a an item that's meant to be sitting in stationery area end up cracked and bashed up like that anyway? lol I dont get how reguler everyday use could create that kinda dammage if the item was sitting on a desk or stand as it's supposed to The funny thing is there are pictures that show some serious damage gee! and the seller consider that light signs of use please! lol have you seen listings like that while browsing on ebay?

Hi apples, That sounds really funny and abuse of ebay in trying to sell off something that seems damaged. I wonder if anyone would buy the item. It would be good if you can post pictures.

Oh my, from the way you described the player, it sounds really bashed-up, and how much is the seller asking for it? With large dents like that, would the player even work?

The listing had a buy it now rate of $60.00 bucks and the auction started at 0.99 with free shipping I could not imagine paying that much for an item in that kind of shape plus the item had no remote control and seller accepted no returns very suspicious listing in my opinion I don't believe in luck, but good luck to the person that decided to buy that item lol the seller claims the item works fine but I have a hard time believing that based on the photos I saw LOL, maybe it will work for a week of use and then brake down why? because some sellers can fix or refurbish items to last long enough to sell them but after 3 or 4 weeks the item stops working and there won't be much you can do about it No returns the listing said, how convenient so that means the chances of getting a refund if the item arives DOA is pretty slim unless ebay agrees to refunded with their buyers protection not worth the hassle to me.

Maybe the seller's wife shows signs of "light" abuse?

i have. stuff like that really bugs me. another thing that bugs me about ebay is when a seller lists an item for a dollar and then charge an outrageous amount for shipping. like a piece of jewellry for a penny but $45.00 for shipping? really!

OOOH! I HATE that too lol the seller list an item with a starting bid of 0.99 cents then you look over to see the shipping rate, and its ridiculously high something like $35 to $45 dollars thats so annoying whenever I see a listing with a crazy high shipping I pass it by, because when I shop ebay I'm looking for a good bargain bid, and not looking to go broke just for one item or any item hahaha.

LOL....there is difference for sure in "light use" and being used almost to pieces. It is a false presentation and they should be careful because that is the kind of thing that gets a reputation lowered. I guess that "light use" is different in people's opinion.

Hi apples, just recently I felt embarrassed for trying to sell my Louis Vuitton handbag on a local buy and sell site only to discover that this bag that I thought to be genuine, turned out to be fake. Well, first-class imitation. I am not into signature bags so I can hardly tell. I only based it on the fact that it was given by my Aunt from the states. I couldn't ask her where she bought it because it was her gift to me. Who knows she just bought it at Duty Free or Wal-mart? The bag is in great shape though, in all honesty but I had to end up lowering the price.

I can so relate to you. It's so funny how sellers post how the the item has only been worn once and has a few light marks on it and in the photo is does look promising. I bought a pair of converse shoes before and it looked perfect in the picture. The seller said no funny business and it only has one mark which isn't noticeable. When I got it, the shoes were stained with heaps of brown marks. I was not happy. I had to clean it myself and the inside sole pad of the shoe was removed. Sometimes you got to be careful when you buy online. Now that's what you call sneaky but a seller posting an image of a very obviously damaged item is really funny!

Isn't it funny how often people will lie like that to sell their items? But the thing is that when they post pictures of it showing that it is badly used and damaged, how on earth do they expect to sell the item when they claim that it is in good condition! Go figure, guess people will do anything to make a quick buck now days, LOL!

I have seen misrepresented items on Ebay. A prime example would be a pair of shoes that are obviously very worn out but listed as GUC, gently used condition. What a waste of time (theirs for posting and mine for looking!)
