Hi, I have lost 78 pounds since January by eating three healthy and well balanced meals a day.
Just try to cut down on snacks in between meals by ensuring that the meals you eat are filling and nutritious. Cut down on fat but get plenty of protein in your diet. You still need carbohydrates but try cutting down your portions of it and instead bulk out your meals with healthy vegetables or salads that will be filling and contain plenty of fibre. Also drink plenty of water and try to up your exercise a little, if only by using the stairs more or upping your walking pace!
Good luck, 8 pounds will easily be shifted!!

Finding the right diet can be difficult because our bodies does not work exactly the same as the others. We need to find one that will suit your body best. The only thing I can be sure of is exercise (you must have a regular exercise, whichever you prefer) and eating healthy and in moderation.

also, you may want to find another stress reliever rather than eating, try sports or other hobbies.

I would suggest you to hit healthy and also to exercise regularly. I think you should try to avoid all the fat food and snacks. I would suggest you to walk more regularly to lose weight. Walking is one of the best way to reduce weight.

Portion control and healthy meals.
My boss and I are both trying to lose weight and she's doing far better than I am in this matter.
She is now 8lbs lighter than I am.
We eat as sensibly as we can, we're on the road all day and often grab meals while we're out working.
However, she does the meal replacement shakes, something I'm going to look into myself.
Processed foods are the worst to eat, so try to avoid them if you can. Not an easy task, but it can be done.
Lay off the junk food, especially chips as they are the most fattening snack food out there.
Walk at least half an hour a day, briskly, enough to get your heart rate higher.
Weight loss isn't easy, this is something I've been trying to do for almost 2 years without much success, although I have lost about 17lbs.

Oh no... i am guilty of all this bad eating habits. I love eating junk food specially at work and processed foods because for me it's hassle free. But im looking forward to do an exercise called the 1 mile exercise which is an equivalent to a 1 mile walk. this was suggested to me by a friend and i hope i could load the videos. It's really important for me to have a good health and start correcting my bad habits when there still time to do it.

I put on 10 kilos About 20 pounds or more) in a little more than 1 month after I quit smoking. I am now being helped by a doctor and he told me to check on the Mediterranean diet and stick to it and walk 10 block a day. He is expecting me to lose 8 pounds in the next 3 months when I have to go to see him again.

yeah, i guess i have to be more cautious about the food that i eat. but im afraid of dieting and cutting down the amount of food that i eat because i know my body will absolutely adjust and the food that which is actually lesser than the usual food i eat will then be the usual moment after compensation and the danger is that when the time comes that i consume more well again i would gain more weight.

Limit your eating. You said that you eat to relieve stress. That's not bad but it's better if you only eat to relieve hunger. When eating is not necessary, don't eat! And exercise too. It's in the proper diet and proper timing of eating.

I think one best way is to divert your attention on more physical activities like running or jogging rather than eating. Some people say that doing some physical activities add to more stress. But I think it also relieves stress if done in the proper time. Perhaps try out going to a gym and do find some great activities to make you fit. That way, you can divert the eating habit and make your body healthier.
