Do you think the internet makes most of us lazy? Well for me I think it does but of course it depends upon us primarily on how we handle our time. These days many people are addicted to the internet specially the younger generations that are very much affected by the internet. I'm an internet addict and i'm sometimes lazy to do my work and just stay online for several hours. How about you?

Being lazy means not doing anything. I am extremely busy when I am on the Internet. Perhaps you mean that one is not physically active or that there is a tendency to put off other chores. That attitude is totally individualistic. I allot sufficient time for my other activities. If one is disciplined all is well.

Hi Jacruz!
Yeah, internet can really make us lazy. There were times before that I ignore my chores because I was busy surfing the net. Thank God I don't do that anymore. ^^ I do my chores first before I get busy on the net.
I also see students and kids of the younger generations who totally ignore their chores just to play computer games. It's really annoying actually especially when these kids play noisily in a computer shop disturbing other people. I wonder what their parents are doing letting their children grow up like that.

Yeah. Sometimes it does.
I think I can't live without internet on the holidays. It's very boring... But, I can't live without drama too! Korean dramas are very fun.
I only use internet in the noon. Internet is useful, so we can chat each other, we can study. At least it killed time. I don't know what to do if there's no computer, or internet, or games, or drama!

I don't think the internet makes a person lazy. There are just a lot of things to discover online. It is there for us to have a smaller world wherein we can easily connect to each other, share ideas, share pictures, share absolutely anything under the sun.
Like every other things in life, the internet has its positive and negative influence on people too. However, it is up to you how you will use it to your advantage. :) Too much of something really is not healthy though. So, lets surf online in moderation.

Yes, I can say the very same thing about myself. When I go on the internet and do like not important stuff, I get hooked on what I'm doing. I say that I am going to walk like around 6:00pm, and when it is the time, I say like "Nah, I'll stay a little longer, its not like I have to be walking exactly at 6 like as if its I'm going to work, I can go in the next 10 minutes, 20, minutes, etc" before I know it its dark and I just use the excuse that I can't walk in the dark. I know a lot of people do it but its just laziness by being so much in the internet. I need to control myself.

I am not quite an internet addict but yes I enjoy being online and taking time off to participate here and elsewhere.I find online work engaging and I can also earn a few extra bucks from it so I spend at least two hours before the desktop daily on all days of the week,365 days a year.

i think its not making is totally lazy....
but when you ask people looking at you when you're online in internet....
and the only thing they will comment:
"we are migrating to the other world and still belong to planet earth called CYBERSPACE"
it looks like we are lazy because the key to visit Cyberspace is the art of fingers and our body doesn't move, so, it appears lazy but its not....

yes, sometimes I will just sit in front
of my computer the whole day,
it just makes me lazy to get up
after using it. It definitely ruins
my plans of being productive for the day.

I keep to fixed hours on the net.I don't exceed my limit by too much. So,I don't neglect my work or become lazy or avoid it.I become lazy in the sense that if I required information in the past I would go to the library and look it up but now I can search on the net and get the required information.

LOL! My work is 24hrs using the internet Jacruz, and I don't see it's anything around it that could make me lazy or else I'll still be on the bed snoring! LOL! ^_^
I think it depends on the person, if they know their priorities and stick with it. I don't think it'll make anybody lazy at all. ^_^

No not me, I do my things and only go at certain times/hours on the internet.
I have no time to be lazy I have work to do, kids to take care of.
Perhaps only for people who have no live, other interest and responsibilities?
But if so, does it matter you are "lazy" then?

I guess it has something to do with time and how we find it goes by. If I am aware of the things I must do or have a schedule that must be followed then what I do online or with anything really is not a problem. It seems to be when I loose track of time that things get put to the side.
