How to maintain my Mylot ranking?

Congratulations on the increase of your star isloooboy and hope it continues to rise for you. I remember I started with a pink 6 and it quickly continued to rise to 7, 8 then 9. I have been 9 - 10 for a while as it does fluctuate from time to time. It took a long time to maintain it as I have for about 4 months now, and am very grateful for all of the received contributions. We simply give as we hope to receive when deserved. Hopefully you do continue to rise.

well just be active more for a day, create amazing discussions or response to discussions which can earn you a thumbs up from someone

The first time I get a star, I get a red star. I do not know for sure, how MyLot gives stars. I only respond to discussions, and respond back. My star, now turned blue, I'm very happy, because the color blue, is the highest star. You also will get a blue star.

When I don't have the star yet,all I do is just reply but my replies are quite long enough,I mean,I sometimes elaborate my comment or sometimes I even add some stories which is related to the discussion. My first star was red and I'm happy about it. I've read some discussions about the rep star and I've learned posting quality comments really works for you to gain the highest star which is blue. So I guess that's the reason why I had red star at once. Just try not to post comments in one sentence only,you can do it but not most of the time. Chances are,you will be rated positive,that would make your star high.

Congrats on your moving to 8 star. Once you come to 85.6 you will be moving to 9 star. Continue to be active as hitherto and automatically you will be moving up.

You pretty much just go and respond to a bunch of discussions, but do not go and make them short and stuff. Make the reply's a good quality and long reply. That is why if there is a discussion that you come across and your not sure on what to say in it, then your best bet is to not reply to it. Just cause you most likely will not make it a good quality response. Another thing is make a lot of good quality discussions so that people will rate you on how good your making discussions. And don't forget to rate other people. Like me, I rate everyone that answers my discussions as a way of saying thank you to them for there answer cause the more answers you get in a discussion the more you will get paid. I too have a yellow star, but i have no idea how i get it.but after reading a few of the responses that you here,I have know how now. Because i was thinking it was base on our participation,we get the stars and different color. Now i know how ,each day am learning about mylot more and more.

hi there! honestly im not really sure as to how it works but from experience it would happen depending on the quality of your post and when you get a best response mark when you respond to a discussion. so just to be sure, just follow the rules and respond to those discussions. happy mylotting :)

Hello isloooboy, Congrats for reaching at 8. I think you want to ask how to maintain reputation?? Only way to maintain your reputation is to give quality on your responses/comments so that all other users can give you more +s nothing else is required. But i would suggest not to worry much about your reputation because more you start worrying about it more will be the effect of it on your responses somewhere.

I really don't know how we get the ratings. I was just happy when I saw my star the first time. Since the first day I received it, it's red and number 9. I don't how I maintain it, and I also don't know how it will turn to blue and 10. I am just happy with my rating, and I hope it will not drop. :)
