and the dye, was done.

Well I did it, I dyed my hair last night.. I took my blonde and I wished it all the very best, and went for the brown.
It needed to be done, my blonde hair was so dead that it wouldn’t grow. The bits of my hair that were brown had grown over 2 inches, and my blonde hadn’t grown at all.. so it was a nice little change, will let my hair grow, get it into better condition, and then go blonde again if I want to.
But holy cow, that dye gets everywhere. It’s on the tiles, the shower head, it’s on my skin, my clothes.. like seriously! Non-drip? Yeah right!!
So what’s the verdict?

I like brown hair, that is my natural color, brown with golden red highlights. Of course at my age I have to color it to keep that color or it would be brown with gray highlights..lol

I have just gone the opposite way and gone blonde after being brown for ages! I was so tired of not having my hair done and so had lots of blonde put in and also a fringe and I feel I look way different!
I bet you are still feeling completely different especially when you see yourself in the mirror

Well from your profile pic you look like you suite blonde..........but, then I guess if your profile pic had only ever been brunette then anyone who didn't know you would think that was your right colour too I guess! : )

It looks great, I did my hair yesterday with colorsilk. It was dark too. I thought that it was going to look bad, but every hair is covered and it looks healthier. I like getting my hair darker for fall and lightening it up come spring/summer. :) Have a nice day!

I saw your new hair in facebook and i was a bit surprised. I guess i just got used to looking at a pretty blonde girl. But you're still pretty with that brown hair and i think you did the right thing.
I went to the hair salon for my monthly treatment as i don't want my hair to dry out since i had it chemically rebonded.

Chemically rebonded means having it straightened to look naturally straight but using a chemical. There's milk rebonding too but the effect is not as good as a chemically rebonded one.

well thats actually a terrible picture because you can't see the side. i still have a large white blonde section of it on the longer side of my hair :) :) so i didn't quite get rid of the blonde haha.. now i'm dark and blonde haha!! .. i didn't want to do it really but everyone likes it better. and my hair is so much softer now, and i'm nearly sure it's growing already!! :) :)
what does chemically rebonded mean? is that like to make it straight?

It looks great. Have you ever tried henna for dying your hair? I'm not a girl so I'm by no way an expert on these things:) but I have heard it's good cause it's all natural so it doesn't damage your hair as much and stuff. I was always thinking about trying it, maybe growing a beard and dying it or something, I don't know:D

but i could use some of that colour lock stuff if i used the henna, so that it would stay longer.. and if it isn't as bad for your hair then i wouldn't mind dying it again sooner :)

I love it and you look gorgeous! It really suits you and hope you too are enjoying it. What can I say about beauty and the messes it comes with; it is torture and well the end results are really what matter.
