I don't have trouble waking up specially on weekdays, because i know i have to , in order to prepare breakfast and myself so i will be ready for my job. My cellphone alarm is always set to wake me up early.

Well, if there is something that needs to be done, like taking the kids to school, yes I would have to force myself to get up no matter how tired I am.

I can usually get up pretty easy unless I have had alot of days with lack of sleep.

Hi Joseph!
I also have troubles waking up when I'm really tired and when I'm lacking sleep. There were so many times that I wanted to wake up but my body won't let me. What happens is my mind is awake and I'm trying to wake up myself but I would end up "dreaming" that I'm already awake but I wouldn't be able to act normally since I cannot move my body. It always freaks me out when that happens but thankfully, I am still able to wake up after wrestling with my consciousness.

I set my alarm clock every day for 7 am. I always get up at the same hour even if it's Sunday. I repeat the same routine day by day since I was a little girl. It's a thing my father thought my so that I can wake up easily each day. When I'm on holiday I usually stop waking up early in the morning and a couple of days after I start work I have a hard time when I have to get out of bed.
Maybe if you try waking up at the same hour for a few weeks than you won't have any trouble getting up no matter how tired you are.

Well! My mind has like it's own conscious alarm so even when I suddenly wake up and there's still some extra hours that I can sleep in, my mind just refuses to sleep and I just end up lying in bed for like an hour then I give up and actually get up. I am tired and I want to sleep more but my brain just refuses it, sometimes I do sleep again and sometimes I just stay awake. So once I'm up, my mind eventually clears and I become fully awake. Yeah, it does get annoying when you're all groggy and just want to hit the sack but there's a whole day ahead of us and we got to get up to meet it.
