A friend of mine urge me to come to California with him, because he is gonna visit his cousin, and also his cousin will bring him down to Mexico border. That sounds really tempting to me. He proposed that to me, since I never been to California, Los Angeles area, and I never been to Mexico too. I have check the airline ticket, wasn't that bad at the end of October. I just don't know whether I want to go or not, since I am not sure how many vacation days I have, and I can't simply base on airplane ticket to calculate how much I am gonna spend too. I also call up a friend to tag along, in hope that more people, more fun. I just hope that I won't need to spend too much money on it. Still on dilemma mode, and considering.

If you go on any trip, you are going to spend money, no two ways about it. It comes down to how much restraint you, personally have. If you go to LA, it also depends on what parts. LA is huge. There's also the city of LA, and LA county, which has, amongst other areas, Glendale. One thing that can help you is that there are lots of $.99 cent stores. They are kind of like $1 Trees, but tend to offer a lot more variety, sort of like a Walmart. Plus, there's Hollywood, The Hollywood Sign, and Le Brea Tar Pits. Just so you know, LA isn't too close to Mexico. You're looking at maybe a 2 hr drive, and traffic in Cali, especially at peak times, is bad. Of course, if there's multiple people in an auto, you can use the car pool lanes. You may also note that you'll pass San Diego, on your way to Mexico, and the San D. zoo is in the area. Go there, but pick and choose what you want to see and do, and balance it all out.

Yu have to way all your options. First off, and the most important thing, is the money. You have to have enough money for the plane ticket and spending money. Also if there is going to be any hotel or motel room expenses. Then there is the issue of your vacation time, whether it jives with the time frame your friend is going to California. If none of that is in order and like I said, especially the money factor, then it might not be a good idea. But if you can swing it, then by all means go and enjoy.

I know what you mean. I think it is great that you are really thinking long and hard about it first. Money sure doesn't come easy but it goes quickly.

I think if you don't go on trip you might later on wish that you had. I think that you could ask your boss now many vacation days that you have got. Then you will have something clear to work with. You could find out exactly how much the airfare is. Then you will know it you can afford it or not. I have been to California and hopped across the border to Mexico.
