I love all my NY football teams. All 3 have been doing good so far. But the Jets have a special place in my heart. They have come so close the past few seasons but each time the Superbowl slips out their grasp. My wish is that this year they make it!

The Baltimore Jets vs the Baltimore Ravens will be the best game of the week. It will be like father vs son. The coach of the Jets and many of there players came from the Baltimore Ravens. As a Ravens fan, the Jets are like the prodigal son finally returning home. Can't wait to watch this game in Baltimore.
Our former defensive coordinator Rex Ryan really put the Jets back on the map. It is going to be a great game Sunday night.

It is going to be very exciting for fans that now the history behind this! I am anxious to see how it will play itself out. Both teams are 2-1 so let's see who wins!

I am really surprised that the Jets have lost 3 games in a row. They were tough games but it looks like the Jets defense isn't what it was last year. I will be interesting to see if they will be able to turn things around.
I like Rex Ryan as a head coach. He isn't afraid to speak his mind.

Three New York teams? Are you including Buffalo? If so, New York really only has one team as both the Jets and Giants play, and even now practice, in New Jersey. (I am a Jet fan.)

Yes there are three NY teams... the Jets, the Giants and the Bills. You are right when you say the Jets and the Giants play and practice in New Jersey. They always have and they always will. However, they are owned by New York and are called the NEW YORK Jets and Giants. Not sure why but that's just the way it is.

Well I guess the old saying of learning something new everyday sure applies to me today! Thank you for educating me on the history of these teams.
I am a Jets fan first. I do not really care for the Bills and only kinda like the Giants. But I love football so keep up with all 3 teams.

Correction #1: both teams started play in New York. The Giants were one of the early NFL teams and last played in New York in Yankee Stadium. The Jets started in the AFL as the New York Titans before becoming the Jets. They last played in New York at Shea Stadium.
Correction #2: Neither team is "owned" by New York although they do retain the name New York. Woody Johnson, the owner of the Jets, is actually from New Jersey.
I used to be a Giants fan in the early '60's but got interested in the Titans when I heard on of their games on the radio. That lead to my becoming a Jets fan before they even had Joe Namath.
I can seeing rooting for the Jets or Giants or even both but I can't see rooting for them and Buffalo. (I remember a few years back when the then governor of New York said he rooted for the Bills because they were the only team from New York.)
