According to me the people visit everyday to the temple, mosque, church etc to show the devotion to god or remain fast is not a real worship. What is the real worship to help the poor or needy persons is actually the real worship to god and god also appreciate this kind of deed.. So friend what is your view about this..?

Yes its a important thing so some religions also has charity as their rule. So u can find some poor peoples also in temples. In islam charity is compulsory in ramadan month. As i dont believe any of this. Just help those peoples who are in real need and if we see ourselves caring god wil care us from heaven.

I think when you worship God, you have ought to pour your heart out to him. When you want people to see God in you, you will have to do good things, so that when they see you do good things for them, and when you do, they will see God's face with you and your action...

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27 KJV all the best urban

Hi siliguri, I agree with you. GOD is everywhere and we can pray to him always. However people prefer to go to the temple for praying, the reason is they want a silent place for praying. We can worship God by doing good deeds to the needy people. Here also there is a difference we don’t want to do it for getting blessings from God, instead do it as a duty that is the real worship of God. I know many people who offer food and other things to the poor people just for getting the blessings from God. I won’t encourage those people. If you can help a needy person without wishing anything in mind that is the real and true worship. God will watch over them and bless those for sure.

Yeah helping needy or poor person for showing others or getting blessings from god is not a real worship and god never except that regards. True pray is the prayer from heart. Thanks sree for the response

No one can define an absolute definition for the worship. Yes our elders have taught us work is woeship but work without heart and God will be only a conflict. The wholeness of man doesn't consist in being devotional but isolated by human solidarity and the love for his neighbor. On the other hand one may even break his body to show solidarity but without God and true love he is nothing. It is not always that man seeks God or the temple. It is the spirit of the man that yearns for God. Yes we see people devotedly praying in the Church or temple, even giving so much of charity but to those who live beside him he inflicts only pain with arrogance and abuse. Then one questions what about his life of piety. On the other hand no one can boast that he is a true person worshipping God realistically. Eachone of us know how hard it is to be consistent in life. Early morning we welcome the day, sincerely asking God to lead us on the righteous path. But during the day how many times we hurt people! yet there is a sincere desire to meet and love God. This is human nature, to rise up and fall down. Its a lifelong journey. Therefore we need simplicity not to give up our approach to God and not to give up our effort to be consistent towards our neighbor.

One holy man said " Our hearts are restless unless they meet you my Lord." Another communist argued before an assembly and said " The nation feeds you, protects you and shelters you; Your nation is your God. There is no other God no other God no other God and he struck a blow on the table. And when he bagan to feel the pain he screamed saying " Oh my God! what a pain O my God!!!". with our reason we can argue a lot pro and contro. But deep within the core of man there's a childlike spirit which yearns for God. Our seeking God is independent from our practices. Man's heart craves for God as the body craves for food. The body craves not for the genuine food alone but for the harmful food too. So man too in his practical life has no balance to live what he seeks in his heart and what he yearns for. Its the nature of the humanity. Each one of us have a unique character. Some are by nature calm peace lovers , they forgive easily and love for the sake of love without looking for gain. But there are some who broadcast loudly on love and forgiveness but if we look into their personal life we see only conflict anger revange and hurting others. We cannot blame a person for praying, for going to the temple, his heart yearns for God. But we cannot accept the wrong actions. We cannot accept the selfish actions. I cannot write explicitly some practical practices 0f human kind not to hurt. But we have to understand our fraialty. We must accuse the evil but love the sinners. How many times we are not able to do good which we believe because of our character???

By making the things which makes god to feel happy.Just going to temple or church doesn't mean that we worship god but daily if we remember god and say a thanks for the is a worship.Reading gods word and spending some time with god in personal is true worship.when we do the thing which makes god to feel great is the best worship we can give, even sharing gods words with other also

Touchy subject. Different religious beliefs have different ways of showing devotion. But I don't think there is a one true worship that would be the ultimate way to show devotion. There are a number of ways and these are all true ways to show your love for your god

I don't understand what you are asking except, worshiping God consists of a person that has been saved and forgiven of their sins. Then we go to God in prayer and he hears us. Poor or not. Hope I am answering the type of question here. glowin100

True, i agree to that. It is not really the words that matters most but it's your deeds. Your deeds to help the poor and the oppressed. It may just be a little help for you, but to the person receiving your help, it means a lot. But if you both do, the words for prayers and your good deeds, its more of a worship and devotion. Always bare in mind that in all the things that you do, there is God that sees you. God bless us!!!
