I had a mac for more than 3 years now And a windows for about 9 year. I really wouldn't buy another windows because the get really slow and freeze if your computeris not fast enough. You can all so you programs like parallel to get windows on mac

i've a laptop and it runs with windows. i think windows is much better where you can get help if you have any problems and many people won't know about the mac laptops.

I am a mac os user for a long time now. I have a windows desktop and a macbook pro currently. I prefer the mac because of its usability and also because i am a iPhone application developer. Windows is good but not near to mac wrt usability

any os would do as long as its fast (ram and processor). something that i can use my photoshop and video editing in it will do. honestly my laptop and pcs are all running in windows but we are also using ubunto (lenux) os. i am not really picky when it comes to os but i am really particular in its specs. it all boils down to specs not its os.

Well I have both, the mac for school and the windows desktop for home. I pretty much prefer my desktop better though because I like looking at a bigger screen compared to a small mac screen. I find desktops easier to use, macs are too complicated for me. But macs do have better applications, there are so many unique programs that I can use from making my own music beats to animating! But then again, the windows desktop has it's own set of unique programs. But I like the desk top better.

I would choose whichever will help me fulfill my productivity needs and of course, the one with the higher specs. For me, they're basically the same thing, they are suppose to make the user productive. I like the specs of the MacBook Pro, but they are just too expensive when compared to windows laptop. Even, there are cheaper Windows laptop with higher specs than the cheapest MacBook Pro.

I had windows for years, mostly because that was what I could afford, but always wanted a mac. A few years ago, my husband bought me a mac book pro for my birthday, and it is just as sound, solid, and fast as it was the day it came out of the box. I won't go back to windows! The mac out performs every time, especially when it comes to developing my photos, and graphics tasks. I love it. The operating system does not freeze like windows is so prone to, and is much more secure and stable. Plus you can actually install windows on them as well and have both.

I always thought that Macs were over priced and because of that I refused to buy one until I was 20, and that is the one that I bought earlier this year. Now, I know that I will never be able to go back to a Windows laptop because I just know that everything is a lot easier on a Mac, and I can do the things that I need to do much quicker than I was ever able to do on my old machine. At one point the other week because of my academic research, I ended up with over 300 tabs open, and it didn't slow my laptop down in the slightest. On my old Windows machine, you could hardly open 4 tabs with it slowing down at least a little bit. Yes, they cost more, but they also last longer and break down less which means that they will cost you less in the long term.

I use windows operating system for as long I use computers. So I will definetly choose windows rather than mac. I never use mac, so I don`t know, maybe its better than windows. but now I use windows 7 and its work perfect on my laptop. I have no reason to change my operating system at the moment.

Both my desktop PC and my laptok is Windows, so if someone wanted to give ma another laptop, a newer one:), I'd still choose a Windows one. Nothing against Mac, but I'm a Windows guy, Mac is good for certain people who like things more simple and kind of a beginner users, but Windows worked for me ever since the late 90s so I'm not gonna change now:)
