Help with Mturk - I Can't Find My Earnings

I signed up to amazon mturk a couple of weeks ago and I have done some 200 simple tasks which have earned me over $20. I have worked for the required 10 days which means I could transfer my earnings to my amazon gift card account. However, After transferring about $10 to my amazon gift card account, it is no where to be found. I have looked and searched the whole of my account on amazon but I do not see it. Am I doing something wrong here? Do I need to wait longer before I can spend it on amazon? Please let me know.

I have not been to MTurk for a while but I do know about Amazon. Did MTurk send you the "CODE" to enter at Amazon to redeem your $10.00? You have to manually add the $10 code in your Amazon account and then you can spend it immediately. Has MTurk sent the code to you yet?

Yes they sent me an email saying the money was transferred. It turns out the money is in amazon.com and not amazon.co.uk. Thanks for the concern.

sorry for hearing that u are in tension at this time ,to not to find ur hard earning from mturk ,i am not in that site and know nothing about it,however i feel that u should get ur earnings ,did u try live support or support ticket so that u get help ?

Hello umabhati, thank you very much for your concern. I really appreciate it. I have found out that the money actually goes to amazon.com and not amazon.co.uk. I guess if I buy stuff from the US website I may have to pay for shipping too.

So you bought something from some US website,and your done with shipping ,so that made u to take tension. Actually what amazon is i dont know.So knowing the details you may felt little bit out of tension as u came to know about the shipping charges.

w0w thats lot of work. please let us know if you have receive the payment and how does amazon handles the shipment. i love to work there at mturk but it seems there is no way to get what you earn except for a gift card....

I haven't worked there for a while but there were some easy tasks that add up in the end. However, the gift card can only be redeemed on amazon.com which is a lot of hassle because of the requirement to pay shipping fees when something is bought.
