It certainly it's possible. A long time ago a love between someone with white and black skin was impossible, now we see it was ridiculous, that was racism but there was a time that both don't being together was actually normal. Unfortunately there are guys out there that don't wanna work and want an easy life, so they might go after older women who are lonely, but there's for example this scandalous couple, he was a 14 yrs boy I think and she was 30 something and his teacher, she went to jail of course, but can you believe that she spent a lot of time behind bars but when she came out, he was an adult and WANTED her, so at least from this story it's possible to see that it does exist. A woman that I knew, 52 years old, she was with a 17 yrs guy and I heard he was really in love to her as well. She didn't work so he wasn't also interested in money, I kind of believed when I heard. I mean there's nothing she could give him materially.

I think that for some persons this is possible, but for me that would probably be impossible. I could not imagine myself with a man of the age of my father, it would pretty weird situation, specially when I introduce him to my parents.

I believe that you can fall in love with someone older than yourself. My husb is 10 years older than I am. We are so good together and its never been an issue. He looks and feels as young as I am. He has wisdom of his age, and I love that. We have never even considered it to be an issue from even the first time we met and liked one another. The one that you are speaking of having a relationship with someone his mothers age is a little old I guess. I mean look Ashton and Demi. He has been running around with woman younger than her. And you can be pretty certain it wasnt for the money as they are both rich.

Hi meriel, That does seem like a big age difference but I still think that it has to be their decision. We really don't have the authority to decide for another, nor can we change another person's mind. My own father was seventeen years older than my mother, and they were happily married for more than fifty years. In this case you may be right in thinking that he is using her for financial reasons or that he sees his mother in her. Blessings.

yes i believe in age doesn't matter...actually i don't want to marry a guy who's younger than me i prefer someone older than me!!!one time in my life it happened to me... i fall in love with a man double to my age!!!at first i was just thinking that maybe i might see him as my father image but as time goes by i realized that it's not...unfortunately we had separate ways,he was the one to decide about it he said that i deserve someone else better younger than him...

I think that it is wrong if one of the couple is under the age of 18, as they would only be a child and not really mature enough to make their own decisions with regards to a relationship. The only reason that I believe a relationship would be "wrong" is if the couple were at a different stage in their lives, like if one was at university and the other was in a full time job. If both were working full time and wanted the same things from the relationship then I don't think that there would be anything wrong with it and everything would be fine.

Hi Meriel, Age matter or not it totally depends on your understanding. There are people who are of same age but don't understand each other and there many who have big gap but understand each other very well. It just depends how you take your relationship.

No i don't agree with this, i think there are many reasons for a person to get into a relation.I saw many of the couples having long gap in their ages.They are not satisfied in all the ways but they are living together, that dose't mean this is because of love.It is just for some other reason like money or status.I may be wrong for some one but i saw these kind of relations only.

It is possible to fall in love with anyone, especially if you do not control your emotions with your mind. What I've seen, is that people who fall in love with people greatly different in age, normally end up falling out of love with them. At some point a person wants someone who is in their own age range, who understands where they are in life, and who doesn't seem like a mother or father, but a spouse.

Hello friend how are you today! yes I believe age doesn't matter. In my own experience my boyfriend is older than me for 11 years. I choose a person that older than me bcoz I believe that he already matured enough to decide and to do a lot of things, and also most older men are caring and loving, not like the guy that younger than you or the same age as you that childless or Mamas boy. So far my boy friend and I is doing fine.

I think nothing is bad about the big age gap.Actually,my auntie is ten years old than my uncle.They now have three kids and live a normal life.

Hello my dear friend you may be right because he might be using her for finance and in true love age do not matter and secondly in arrange marriage age do matter because their is thinking gap the point we think is the thinking of present and they think of their time so i feel there should not be generation gap and just that guy that there are many girls in the world or nearby him who are same age of him do not do stupid thinks because afterward everything gets very complicated nothing else
