Hello guys..today in our place is Saturday and for me it is not a family day nor a time for shopping (cause there's always no budget) but a day (primarily) on my laundries. I think God miss one day on His creation (only for me) He forgot to add another day after Sunday. He forgot one day and that would be Laundryday. My wife can't do our laundries anymore because she can resist heavy clothes and other house chores that needed extra effort. Of course, who would come to the rescue? Here comes "LaundryMan on Laundryday".. funny but its true and I am doing it ever since.
Additionally there are 7 dogs to be bathe and it's the time for my anti virus to do scanning for a couple of hours cause I can't do it during working days cause it spends much UN-interrupted time.
Do you have usual house chores during Saturdays aside from shopping and movies?
Let's share it guys!!!

Every Saturday morning, I do my laundry. While waiting for that to finish, I usually do other chores in the house, like vacumming or cleaning up my bathrooms. After laundry's done, I pick out newspapers, magazines and other recyclable items for the following week's garbage pickup. Movies for evening, if not, meeting some friends during evening as well. I don't like to do my laundry and chores on Sunday because I like to relax on Sundays.

I work a second job on Saturdays from 8am to 7pm. I always run to the grocery store during my hour lunch to get our groceries or most of it, so that on Sunday I can go to Church, do an errand or two, and take the kids out to a restaurant for a nice meal. I also work about 50 hours a week at my main job mon-fri so I am exhausted by the time Sunday rolls around but I have to do this to support my family.

I do any and all cleaning that needs to be done, and I do my homework if I can. I run some errands and I get things done that just need to be done. Sometimes I visit my boyfriend, and if it is the first Saturday of the month, then I go to my cousins for poetry night.

Hello Mob,
I guess you have a holiday on Saturday from work, am I right? There is nothing wrong to help your wife for some heavy works and you have to find out the enjoyment with that particular work.
For me, Saturday is also a working day. The other routines may be visit on schools if there is something particular in the school Today was the result day for my younger son’s school and it is his first result day in the school (as he joined nursery this year). So went to the school in the morning itself to find out the result and I am happy that he did well in exams and his teacher also said good things about him. Again another Saturday which may on 15 October is the result day of my elder son. On other Saturday’s there is nothing specialty and is going on as usual. Sunday is a holiday for us, the laundry day, cleaning day etc.
Here the festival season is going on people are so busy with shopping, but no shopping for us.

Ino longer work. Saturday and Sunday are pretty much the same as the rest of the week for me. The only difference I sleep a little later and don't exercise as long. I try not to go anywhere on the weekend because I have to use the handicap parking space and on the weekends sometimes it is not open.

Saturday is my scouting day. Same for my 2 kids and it's the only day I can sleep a bit longer as 7am.
Sunday is my laundry day after the kids come back from swimming class.
It's a long time ago Saturday was a free day off for me (I think it never was) or I went out or watched a movie. But at least my weekends are not boring at all.
