I joined Sponsored Tweets awhile ago. It's a site that posts ads on your Twitter page, and pays you a certain amount per click, usually about $0.02. Or sometimes an advertiser might find you and pay a set amount just for putting the ad on your Twitter, regardless of how many clicks you get, and for this you can set your own rate (mine is $0.25 per ad).
So I've slowly been earning a bit of money on this site, but last I looked, you could not request pay out until you had $50.00. Of course with only getting a couple clicks a day, it would take a very long time to earn that much!
Well today, or the heck of it, I clicked the withdraw button, and discovered that you actually can withdraw cash under $50, but they charge you $2 if your funds are less than $50. I had $8 in my account, so I cashed out, and got a payment of $6 in my Paypal account. But I guess getting $6 now is better than waiting forever to earn $50!
Did you know you could cash out before $50? Are you a member of this site?

I was in the process of doing that but never finished what I was doing. I find I am on so many piddly sites that take forever to earn and what I really want is something that pays regularly.

I agree. I've given up on many sites too because I just don't have the time for them all anymore. I stick with the ones I like, the ones that are easy, and the ones that I know actually pay pretty well.

I've never tried that site. Do you have to have a lot of followers for it to be worth it? Right now I don't have many followers. I haven't done a lot with Twitter. I think if I were to do that and get a ton of followers I'd rather create a separate account so that I didn't spam friends with a lot of business twitters. I could use any extra money I can get though so I think I'll look into it.

I have heard about that site before, at least read about it. but I was in the province back then and there's no internet connection there so I did not have the chance to try it out the first time i heard about it. then I forgot about it until now that I read your post. I feel interested to try it out but does this site require a specific amount of followers? because I'm not really into twitter and I only have very few followers.

I have not heard of this before so I might have to go and have a look - sounds interesting although the only thing is I don't really use twitter that much so I guess I wouldn't really get that much from it?!

I am not a member of this site but good info to know in case I ever do join. I dont like the idea of giving any kind of fees, and that my friend, was a steep one! Oh well the price you pay for patience. I dont like my money sitting in websites either. Too many of them close down and then it's a real headache trying to get those funds so I do understand why you cashed out and paid the fee. Good luck with your tweeting and more earnings.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware of this site but will look into. I was on a similar site called mylikes. No pun intended, but I liked the site. it was fun and I earned a little money. When I got home from vacation last August, I tried to access the site and got a message that my account had been suspended.
No specific explanation was given and there is no one or no way to contact anyone affiliated with the site. There is no support which is suspicious.
I had gotten a "like" from them just before going on vacation. I did not have time to access it before leaving for vacation so I tried to access it from my IPad but could not. I wonder if that was the problem but as I have said, there is no member support so I can not communicate with mylikes.
You might check it out. It was fun and I earned a small amount of money very easily.
