So what is your opinion? Should high school girls and lower years ban from using make up like lipstick, mascara, eye liner, blush on etc?
Well im kind of neutral in this topic, we all know that people have their own freedom and they should choose and do what they want, that is their life, we dont have the right to decide for them, their life is their own responsibility. On the other hand Adults know what's best for kids because they are more experienced in things like this.
So if this is to be legalized on your country what is your opinion?

Hi there Viney17,
With reference to your main topic discussion, for me students from the high school levels should not be banned as this is a part of grooming. Perhaps, one of the best thing to do is to give them proper guidance and instructions as to when, how and where should make-up to be use. Hence, the more you will ban those high school ones, the more they will be going eager to use it. However, those girls who are still below high school level, should avoid to use this as their skin will somehow damage by the chemical presence on the make-up.
Referring to the above responses, proper guidance and instructions should be given on both - to those girls who are still in high school and below high school. Hence, if this is to be done, maybe they will really know when, where and how make-up should be use. Though it is a part of grooming, they should be use in prim and proper way.

No girls in schools should not be allowed to wear make up in schools. This encourages the wrong kid of learning and takes the emphasis away from their educational development where make up is concerned despite their protest girls do not need to wear make-up. Educators, parents and education needs to address the issues that surround teenage girls with regards to confidence and inner beauty.

It is up to the girl parent to decide whether their daughter should use make up or not, it is not the school responsibility to have such policy in place unless the make up can create many problems in the classroom. It is just unrealistic for the school to hire personnel monitor and then decide whether a girl has make up on her or not when coming to school, it is a waste of school resources and money to have such type of silly policy, when school around the nation are lack of fund; teachers are lacked in number, building are dilapidated, classroom student number is growing, graduation rate is dropping, and education standard is falling among students; the schools had more than enough headache in their hand to handle daily than worry about girl wearing make up to school. If the parent want to give their girl plenty of $$ and never object to their make up even though they are minor, it is their rights to do so, the school shouldn't get involve in this personal matter, if not, they can possibly get themselves a lawsuit from these parent for violating their daughter personal rights and end up receive many nonsense complaints from stupid parent.

Hi viney. Well, not exactly ban but teach them on the right AND responsible grooming. It has always been my belief that make-up is a part of good grooming and it's quite important for a lady to have at least a lipstick or powder on her purse. And it's important for the parents to teach their daughters about the right way to use make-up, which is to enhance the natural beauty of women and not to look like clowns.
In my country though, it's seldom to see high school girls wearing make-up but I've noticed that it's slowly becoming a trend what with all the make-up tutorials in the internet nowadays. I guess it's nice to know these ladies learning how to do make-up just as long as it's not too much

I studied in an all-girls private school and they really were strict about make-up back then. To compromise, we resorted to baby powder, tinted lip balms, and some good old cheek pinching. In our country, make-up is still seen to be for older women and they think that teens shouldn't use it.
Although I disagree with that, I'm thankful that I got to add more years of giving my skin less damage because of make-up. We all know that make-up ages skin no matter what product you use, and I'm thankful that I was able to save my skin during my development stage. Although I hate that they dictate what we can and can't do, I think that some things, like these small things like wearing make-up and all is okay to leave the decisions to the adults. But if they take it too far, then that would be wrong.

I think this should be a major issue in a country. Wearing makeup is a total personal choice. What about actresses? Young actresses.
This should never be banned. Although I hardly use makeup but I can understand those young people who do. It's a personal pleasure, anyway.
Have a great day!

In my opinion, the school should be the one to implement such rules because younger skin does not need makeup and it will just spoil their skin. It is also important that parents should educate their younger girls not to put any makeup in their face and be content of what they are.
Makeup is good for professional ladies who are already working and is matured enough to know how to take care of their skin. Exposure to makeup at an early age will have the tendency to make the skin rough, dry and worse can get pimple breakouts.
On the other hand, makeup can only be allowed to use if in terms of special occasion in school (Junior and Seniors Prom, other school activities, etc) and some theatrical play.

i think it is so important to look after your skin when you are younger o i think make up is bad for you when you are young. the younger you start to keep agood skin care regime the better and using a sun protection will help the signs of aging..also not taking your make up off in the night is bad for your skin and clogs pores and increases aging...but when you are young you don't think about getting older you just want to have fun and keep in with the trends.....

Well it is pretty legal in my country, I always see little girls running around in high skirts looking like little raccoons. During school though, students are not allowed to apply make up but some rebel girls still chuck on some mascara in the school restrooms. I go to an all girl's school and I don't get why they do it, there's no one to impress really Outside of school, I see some of my classmates with full blown make up to the point they looked like clowns! I'm like you here, I'm quite neutral about this, People have free will and should be allowed to do what they want. It's up to the parents to decide, make up shouldn't be banned for teenagers because it isn't hurting anyone.

In high school, one of my best friends Rhonda wore the prettiest eye shadow. The colors were a work art that did not look tacky at all. My other friend wore so much foundation it looked like a mask from some kind of stage show. I on the other hand wore so much red lipstick I could be a stop sign a mile away. My step grandmother said, "That's for a club." "Not for school or the day time." High schoolers at 16 could wear makeup in moderation to school. I agree with my step grandmother. All this to say- Everything moderation.
