I don't know what is is about that movie, I can watch it all day, I guess that I like movies that people explore in and go to these strange places I like these movies, the Mummy to me was a funny movie because of how the Mummy sucked their faces off so he can get back human, but the part that I really liked was when it came to the point to where, Aknocsamun, I guess that's how you spell her name I don't know, but how she left emotep, and the other guy wife came back to save him, that showed true love there. If you all have seen the movie than you know what I am talking about... So what kind of movies are you guys into?

I watched the Mummy too. That scene that you mentioned where Anaksunamun left Imhotep was really quite sad. The guy was so in love with her that he would try to resurrect her every time he got revived... and yet she didn't love him enough to help pull him up. He was so shocked that he decided to completely give up on his love and smiled at the Evelyn and her husband's love before letting go and getting himself pulled to pieces.
They changed the actress for Evelyn in the 3rd movie. I was hoping to see her again. The other actress just didn't seem enough like an Evelyn to me. But overall she wasn't that bad.

There was a tear? Wow you're very observant. I just noticed how brokenhearted he was.

Yes I know right, and did you see how Imhotep just threw his self in the pit, and when the tear feel from his face after he saw what true love really was..

I must agree with you that this movie is very watchable. I have seen this movie the first time a long time back. But even today when it comes on TV, I watch this movie. I think it is the combination of action and humor that makes this movie very watchable.
Cheers!

ive seen all 3 parts of the movie MUMMY...
all good..with Brendan Fraser.. especially the first 2.. but the third i hate it..due to the beautiful charm of Rachel weiss as Brendan wife is not in the third part.. only that blunt face of a wife taking her role.. and that chinese mummies arent interesting like the egyptian mummies..

What a coincidence! The Mummy was just on a few days ago and I watched some of it. I have seen the whole movie but it has been quite a while now. And yes, the movie does have a comical feel, even though a little ghastly with all those zombie looking creatures but a pretty good movie. I've seen all three films already and I reckon the second one was the best with the little boy and how they had to fight the Scorpion King. I really animated films like Wall E, Up and Toys story. Even though I'm a little old for kiddy movies, I just simply love it. I love the plots that they have and the characters are truly lovable. Some animated films can really show an important message to the audience.

The first Mummy (with Brendan Fraser) was really good. I think it'st best not to talk about the others. I'm into horror movies, but I like all sorts of other genres, maybe period dramas are the only ones I really don't like.
If you're not the kinda person who despises old movies, because they're slower in pace, they have cheap effects and they're shot in black-and-white, then I'd recommend watching the original Mummy from 1932. You should also check out the one that was made in 1959, by Hammer Studios. Both are very cool.

You know what's crazy I think I have seen that one before, my grandfather has all his movies since he was a young boy, my grandfather is now 65and he has been collecting movies since he was young and one day I went to his house a while back and he was watching a movie called the Mummy but it was old so I don't know, that might have been it, he still watches the VHS, movies. Funny right, but he has all the old films I mean you name it he got it, you remember the movie War of the Worlds something like that he has the first on that was made..
