Which do you think is better in rock music,american bands or british bands?

Well I'll base my opinion from the present time. I think it would be the british bands because of their artistic style of music and poetic lyrics. I'm not saying that american bands are not that good, I have two favorite american bands though (like the killers and the white stripes)but most of their bands TODAY seem to have the same type of melody or tempo. Its like I hear the same style again and again. While for the british bands, they seem to be more innovative and always experiment more. They combine different sounds so you wont get tired of listening to them especially when live. Its like each one of them tries to deviate from the common so each can be known easily for their unique style. My favorites here are muse, coldplay,radiohead and arctic monkeys. P.S. I'm an asian so there's no reason for anyone to call me bias.
