I am already at the prime of my life and i am already experiencing some symptoms that i could not understand if its related with menopause or with other illness.
Lately i have been slowly gaining weight due to slower metabolism but what is annoying are the back pains, headaches, hot flashes sometimes and getting easily fatigued. I started experiencing these before, about ten years ago but i can still tolerate it. This year, i could feel that these symptoms already affects my daily activities and my moods. I could not lift heavy objects anymore because it will trigger backache and headache too. Sometime my joints are painful especialy when i get up from sitting, sometimes too i get dizzy. I had laboratory tests already but all are normal except my cholesterol which is at borderline. Well, i think this is what they call menopausal symptoms. I am still having my period but its become irregular.
Are you of the same age as me or are you having these symptoms too? Well, every woman will come to experience these anyway.

It sounds like full-blown menopausal symptoms to me (my own menopause has been and gone), although I'm not sure about the back pains...could they be due to something else?

I think so, i have been carrying a laptop to and from the office so i guess it is the cause. I avoid bringing my laptop this past few days and the back pain is slightly reduced and i am applying liniments before bed. I will observe if it will be gone completely. I promised not to bring laptop anymore.
Thanks a lot Celtic. God Bless!

Yes, that is what i have been experiencing since i was 40 years old. I feel so hot at the upper part of my body, especially my face back and chest and my head. Its so uncomfortable, seems i have a fever as high as 42 degrees centigrade. According to doctors, it is best to take a cold shower whenever we feel this hot flashes.
