natural calamities are indeed hard to stop, all we can do is to be prepared. This is what I am talking about, where are those taxes that we paid? They're supposed to be used this time of crisis. Because all I can see are those help coming from the foundations.
Wake up officials, open your eyes!

As if Typhoon Pedring and Quiel are not enough devastations, a new typhoon called Ramon is spotted and is threatening to enter the Philippines territory.
In the news many towns in provinces like Bulacan and Pampanga are still flooded, some higher than a human's height. Some towns are isolated and rescue teams and/or the military are trying to reach those areas to help out distressed people.

Your prayers are more than enough to help our fellow countrymen who were ravaged by the typhoon. If you can, donate through TV networks that asks for monetary donations. I think they are posting account numbers on their channels, all you need to do is deposit money into them. But still, your prayers are still the most important help you can give to them.

even though the devastation of the two consecutive strong typhoons was disheartening, it caused the country to be united and one in sympathy with the victims of the twin disasters. people are volunteering to extend help. organizations are conducting relief operations. governments are more active and visible. i think there is some good out of this. i pray to all who are greatly affected to be strong in the belief of a recovery and hope.

Same here with me, i feel very sad with what the series of typhoons did with our country. It was very devastating and sudden that even helpless children have to suffer the calamity. But what happened also serves as an eye opener to everyone that we should be ready all the time. Our "bayananihan" attitude reigns in our hearts, with arms wide open willing to help and extend our hands to the needy. I also do hope and pray for their continues safety and good health. I expect that our government will give enough support and allocations to the affected places. May God bless us always!

It is a heart wrecking scene after the passage of back to back typhoon, Luzon province is facing mass destruction and remain in disarray for most the residents there, my prayer had gone to these badly affected people and hope everything can be back to normal quickly before it get worse again in this beginning season of tropical monsoon in Phillippine.

This series of typhoons really saddens everyone residing in our country. It never fails to create horrid feelings inside all Filipinos inside and out of the Philippines. It's very devastating and left us fearing every typhoon that hits our beloved land, more so the lives it took with each visit from them.
But don't feel so helpless, we may not help physically but our prayers for those who suffered the intense anger of the typhoons will move mountains and will help them survive this catastrophic events. The Filipino will soon be on its knees again and standing. We are strong-willed and God is our protector.
I just want to pray for the souls of those who did not make it, may they rest in peace and join the kingdom of God forever.
