I want to buy mannequin!!!

You may called me a freak but Im so addicted to shop and i cant resist fashion. So I want to buy mannequin, hangers and going to decorate my room to looks like a mini shop. We still have an extra room so I can use it as my personal closet, design it to look like a private boutique. I also learn sewing, knitting and crocheting and I have plan to put my designs in my dream room. My parent has an old cash register, I will put it to make my room really looks like as a boutique. Im so excited and I think it can reduce my addiction to shopping :D so do you have shopping addiction too and how do you handle yourself from shopping? and can you please suggest me what is else I need to put in my special room?

I do love shopping. You wouldn't see me passing on a trip to the mall. I love to just look through stuff and fit them on but I am very keen when it comes to the style. I would go around the mall for hours before finding the perfect piece.

I suggest for your closet is to create nice hangers, like wrap it with ribbons or cloth to make it look like a cute boutique. Add a nice sofa to go to the middle of your closet. For your hats and stuff, buy those mannequin heads that they use to sell wigs on. Those are really cool. And use coat hangers for your bags.

hello nixiecole, wow Im so thankful to you for your wonderful suggestion, It really help me to manage my room to look alike a mini boutique, I still need to move some stuff and will paint my room but I already have some idea with the room plus your suggestion going to make my room perfect. The extra room is small but i can manage to put mannequin, the mannequin heads and the wooden hangers. yes, im so excited to arrange this room but I need to move some stuff out from this room.
Hehehe...Im an impulsive buyer and i do think that every clothes looks perfect on mannequin. I cant resist fashion and I hope this way can reduce my addiction.

Brinafr3sh you have a wonderful idea, and I like your idea about getting earrings boards actually I just browse on video tutorials how to crochet earrings. I havent get the coat hangers because my father just bought me a new bed, but I can save a little money to buy it, it cost about $27, i cant wait until im done arranging the room.

I think that's a great idea!
I am actually thinking of getting myself one. I have an online store for a specialized clothing. I don't like how I portray my products on my website. I think they would look much better on a mannequin.
I've looked around craigslist, and they could be expensive.

Hello bounce, wow you have an online shop? I wish you the best for your online shop. Yes, I sometime think that clothes looks better on a mannequin, maybe because mannequin has perfect shape, oh how I wish to have a perfect shape as a mannequin hehehe.
My mother's friend owns a boutique and she recommended a shop who sell cheap mannequin and we got full body mannequin for $15 and mannequin head for $7. I dont know about craiglist but I hope you get the mannequin you wanted.

No it doesnt require a lot of money, a full body mannequin is about $15 and a mannequin is about $5-7, and wooden hangers is not too expensive. I dont have plan to open a boutique now but I want to make my closet to look a like a boutique :D it is a crazy idea but I really love fashion.

what kind of mannequin do you want?
Are you not scared of them?
I saw in movies when mannequins are moving and they killed people and it's so scary.

hello tina and welcome to mylot. Im so happy you participate in my discussion. Wow you saw movies about mannequin moved and killed people? I have never watched it but if you still remember the movie title please inform me. I was once borrowed mannequin from my sister but it did not move nor made strange activity, so perhaps the mannequin was scared of me because im a scary person :D
I want mannequin like in boutique to put on my clothes and designs and make me feel as if in a boutique. i know it sound like a crazy idea but i really love fashion and I have dream to open a boutique someday, but for now I want to arrange my room to look like a boutique. I also want mannequin heads and wooden hangers to put on hats and other accesories.
