do you believe one key to one lock?

The key represents the male and the lock represents the female.
Do you believe that there only this one right person for you on earth? Or do you believe that there are many partners that are suitable for you in this world?
I have been thinking about it and for me, I believe that there is only one key to one lock and therefore, it's really difficult for us to find the perfect one, the right one.
What are your views on it?

People need so many differant things in there life that it is impossible to say that there is only one person out there for them. In our teen years we want nothing more than to have someone to share our love with, in our young adult years we want someone that we can party with and explore out sexuality with, in the middle years we need someone we can have a family with (animal, child, neither , watever) and during our elder years we require a companion. How can one person fill all of these roles? As we grow and change we sometimes outgrow boyfriends, lovers,spouses, and companions....that does not mean that they were not the right person for us, just not the right person at that stage in our life.
