Doing what it takes to be Superman??

The World is a strange place indeed. could have use that money for other things.
But I don't get it? why spend thousands (Of Philippine Pesos) just to be like Superman?!!
This proves that not only men and women likes superman but even some gays too
But he went off the hook, save money and make a lot surgical changes and more! just to make look exactly like Superman in the Movies, more like brandon rough (but maybe clark kent?)
I agree with the other mylotter who made a topic about people who do plastic surgeries, like this, they must have a serious problem contentment of whom they are. but it was his choice.
Though I wonder what would you feel if the next generation would think Superman "could be" gay just because some made it look like him

No Offense but I wore a Superman costume too when I was a kid, but that was it.
I even had a Superman toy before i gave it to my nephew and I made a black superman costume in the sims, that was just that.
Guess, when it comes to obsession, you just have to admire their determination. I wonder, was it worth it?

Based on his appearance I can say that it's definitely worth it. I don't like surgeries especially if it were made just to enhance because the process a patient has to go through is not easy. I've seen videos on youtube on some of these surgeries and I can almost feel the pain but still there are people who are willing to do it just to enhance their looks. Maybe they have serious self esteem issues but at the end of the day, as long as they are not harming anyone in the process then i'll let them be.

Hello Ybong, For him, it's worth but it's really impractical on my view, living in a third world country and seeing people suffering while he spent his money to make his face look like Clark kent or superman which i believe is injustice to those who don't have money. too bad but it's his decision though. have a nice day.

Is it a bird? Is it a man? It's Superman Fan!
I'm really amazed that someone would copy the face of superman. Maybe this is one feature of humanity, we are unique on our own and just have not the same feeling or consent about something.
Maybe the wrong perception and presentation about the beauty of man have made most of us to be obsessed with our physical looks. Though I have not seen the face of this man before and could not comment or judge if he had done a right decision.
But I definitely agree with you. He must be insecure with his looks that he had done this. I just couldn't believe that instead of improving the feature of his face, he had opted to copy another.
I just hope that his surgery will last forever and maybe he should start learning how to fly.

Hello tholitz There's nothing wrong with his face anyways, he is a lot more weird now than ever before. I think his face will be a bit ugly as he grows old, just look christopher reeve when he has gotten a bit older though. too late for that now that is what he wants we only have to respect that any ways. i saw this news on tv but did not pay a lot of attention with it. but reading here now at as your discussion made me remember what Cher (the singer/actress) said to the press when her daughter (now son) Chaz Bono had a lot of operation to be a man. cher said it is not your body and it is not your money har har har. though come to think i guess this kinds of people has really have loving yourself as you are problem. i dont like superman but my brother does. he even named his son Jorell. he still collects and has a wonderful collection of memorabilia, he lives in UK so his collections are really jaw dropping. i like batman, though i dont collect like he does i have a few things that are batman. i guess all of us has obsessions, but sometimes others are really over the top.

Hello ifa225, In my view i don't think it's logical nor even practical to spent much on that. what would happen if they realize they don't have money no more. am not sure though about fans of different popular rock bands, i will check. have a nice day.

Hello mantis, Nyahahaha, that is so funny indeed, that is another way of putting it. I hope that when this person gets old he won't regret his decisions of those surgeries. when we get old i guess that it would reflect on his face and i don't think we ever saw jor-el get old face look.
